One of my favorite streamers Emily D. Baker talked about seeing this live over the weekend during her live stream today and said how amazing it was. So being a former marching band kid (DRUM-LINE ALL THE WAY) I had to check it out. She was not wrong. This is incredible! Great job Marching Southerners. You did amazing.
I know most of us "band people" never saw or paid much attention to the "flaggers". BUT I now watch this flag team with awe. They are a show unto themselves! Great job team. Love watching the precision of your show in show out efforts.
I'm as blown away by this show as I was when I first saw JSU 50 + years ago when I went to band camp there . Truly an American treasure ... the .... JSU marching Southerners...
You look at Georgia, Alabama and auburn, although we grow, we are continuing to be the best. Europe loves us. The past was great and now as today, we are phenomenal. We are Jacksonville state Alabama and this Georgia dude is so happy with my family. Love you Ken and Rodney. It brings me happiness. Love you
Joey my guy, you can’t even compare two marching bands when one side does 5 shows a year and one does 1. JSU is incredible, everyone enjoys them, but don’t throw other schools under the bus.
I know football can be fun to watch, but if I'm choosing between a game and this band, I'm picking the band EVERY TIME! I don't think there's a finer sounding marching band out there!!!!
Their intro was from my schools 2021 show legit took it smh. (they did ask btw not actualy plagarism.) thoe whole mars and sprach thing they got from us!

@@musicalfruit6210 their original from 2001 is the closest. And since the music in question is considered Public Domain, that means anyone can use it for whatever purpose. Sorry, 500+ vs. 80ish. And a college marching band accredited to musical excellence? 🤷🏻♂️
@@Jeyisms did you even watch our show? its literally the exact same arrangment but with embellished percussion and lowbrass parts. And Arrangments can be copywrited and the southerners asked express permission to the composer we use? Idk how to help you if you cant tell our arrangment is literally the exact same with the mello runs and all??
