I met Michael (and his first wife Sally) in October 1974. I was in the Marines and our unit, 1st Battalion 8th Marine Regiment, had just returned to Camp Geiger, N.C. from a six month deployment in the Mediterranean Sea. The first Sunday back in N.C. another Marine in my platoon, Harry Diehl, and I went to the Protestant chapel there at Camp Geiger for Sunday morning services.
It was unlike any service I had ever been to. Michael, (I didn't know who he was or what he was), was leading the service. We sang songs from a small paper hymnal (it was labeled "Sing Along The Way"). There was a time of prayer, and then I heard a member of the congregation stand up, speak in tongues, then interpret what he had said. Another person stood up and did the same thing! Then another stood and had a word of prophecy. All done in perfect order. My mind was...blown!
Immediately after the service Sally and Michael came to Harry and I and invited us to their apartment where they had a small Bible fellowship on weeknights. I'm sure I resisted somewhat but Michael is...persuasive, lol.
For the next year and a half I attended the fellowship there at Beacham Apartments with dozens of others, mostly Marines, learning about the Bible and the will of God.
We were deeply involved in The Way Ministry. That fellowship and time with Michael and Sally changed my life. I still have a picture of the three of us in the back of my Bible. I have many, many memories of times with Michael and Sally and the love they shared with all of us there. Their influence got me to go to Emporia, Kansas in the fall of '76 when I got out of the Marines, to attend a college The Way had established there. They were also there in a different leadership training program (The Way Corps).
While at Emporia I met my future wife, Larkin, who was in the 7th Way Corps with Michael and Sally. (We celebrated our 41st anniversary this past July). I would not have met her without Michael's encouragement to have gone to Emporia with them. Obviously there wouldn't be my four children or my eight grandchildren. To say Michael Rood influenced/directed/guided me with my life would be the greatest understatement I can imagine.
Life goes on. Today I am retired from teaching American history/civics/government for 25 years at our local middle school in St. James, Missouri. Larkin and I run our family farm where we raise cattle, hogs, and chickens that we market directly to the public.
I am living my dream. No man has been more fortunate than me and I thank God daily for all He has done for me and allowed me to see.
But none of it would have happened without Michael John Rood.

I felt a rush of excitement go through me when reading about how everything was done in order. I have gone to pentecostal churches with my husband before and I have never seen something like that. It has to be awesome to experience this first hand. This is how it should be done. I was Catholic born and grew up in the Catholic and I never learned from the bible like I have ever since I started studying it myself in this pass yr. This is what I have tried to tell my husband but he yet doesn’t understand.

Haven't watched you for years but have note books of your teachings especially re the name of God and ceremonial rites etc...lying in bed sick today, for some reason the Holy Spirit whispered your name to look up wanted to see if you have anything on the cross. Seeing this topic I read the comments first and started listening. This is so amazing, laughing and crying in parts..Such a powerful testimony!! I am encouraged!! Sir I’m a 24 year old man that has struggled with scripture. I learned to stop listening to man and find the word for myself. I’m a new Torah follower. You have given me hope for mankind. Thank you sir. If only the world would stop blindly following and read the word for thereselfs then miracles will start happening and all this false following with stop.
Also why don't you try reading the books that they didn't put in the Bible very detailed information that line up with scripture, documents, and even confirmed by outside sources. The reason they took out of the Bible to begin with. Start with 1st enoch don't read 2nd 3rd made up occult levin.

i was amazed at the Rood awakening, I from Laredo and I am also a veteran. I wasnt in the Marines but was in the army under President Reagon. I served as a pershing missle crewman . I am a believer , I wish I could say with all my heart, but am lacking . I was in an accident 2 years ago and killed a horse on my motor cycle and was in a coma for a month. Coming around now, need prayer please.

This video stirred my heart unbelievably. At 78, and having taught the word for many years, have felt put on the shelf for past few years while tending to my husband's medical situation. He passed away two years ago and I've been saying "what next Lord"...as I said...this stirred my heart profoundly. Excited to go forward.

Praise G-D michael rood is telling a story just like mine! But since i retired truck driving a year ago, i met the Lord in a similar way. Today i don't go to church, am having church in my house with my wifeand i along! In one year so many things changed for me. Praise the Lord for the Lord is good, His love and mercy endures forever. I have been asking God to what purpose is my life spared and your testimony regarding how you felt and the things that happened to you right after leaving the ministry (I believe the ministry left us) mirrored my own story. Mr. Rood appears to love the Lord and had a Rood Awakening concerning the Sabbath. How about an Awakening that no one comes to the Father except through His Son Jesus. Maybe this awakening is yet to come!

@@alphaomegastables No was never invloved with The Way International at all just got a photo of VPW from The Way International Bookstore I did get a copy of the book "Jesus Christ Is Not God" "recevivng The Holy Spirit for Today" and also got "The Way Magazine" for a couple of years I was some what took with The Way International for a time for you see I was raised in The Church Of God(Cleveland,Tennessee) so I knew about about speaking in Tongues but later I stop getting The Way Magazine I did some study read the book "Victor Paul Wierwille & The Way International" that book opened my eyes to Victor Paul Wierwille & The Way Internatioanal" the hold was broken even as an outsider !!!!! fromSouth Louisiana.
Wow,... just wow, (Not to be mistaken for "Word Over The World"! My poor misguided slightly older sister paid for me to take their PFAL classes, early 80's; looking back as a follower of The Messiah's teachings, The Way was a cult, somewhat bible based, but NOT God's truth. Met and of course kissed, (not so sure my motives or theirs, were 100% Holy) a lot of sweet well-meaning people. Praying we all come to know and follow truth & walk in love,that we may ultimately be known by Him and get to hear " well-done, good & faithful servant".

Thank you Michael. I just want to tell you when I needed to hear some of the things I needed to hear and ready to receive them. You was their and spoke them. You was able to get the message out. They say experience is the best teacher. I guess that would be true if the Ruach Ha Kodesh is guiding you through this life. Even when we do not follow his Spirit we learn it would have been better to follow his leading. This is just Abba working in our lives.

The word, "Rood," is really interesting because it has an Old English root, which means, "The Cross!" It is often referred to as "The Holy Rood."
Holyrood is also the name of the Scottish parliament
But Michael Rood teaches that Yeshua didn't die on a CROSS but a stake. Even tho Scripture tells us that the sign over Yeshua was hung over His head and not His hands. Hmmm....

This has been such a blessing! It is amazing and wonderful to have The SPIRIT bare witness to The TRUTH. I recently found Ron Wyatt's videos, and started looking in to SABBATH...I too always felt deep down I was missing something in The Faith..I was raised a mixture of Pentecostal and Assembly of GOD and knew something was not quite right. Learning about the Sunday law has I believe and set me on a path of seeking the Truth. I am persuaded to lay down all doctrines I had been taught to believe and seek the TRUTH. I am so thankful for the revelations OUR FATHER has begun to open my eyes and heart to. It is a humbling thing to understand how easily it is to be deceived....this world is indeed a depressing place. Evil is everywhere. It is a joy to hear testimony like yours Mr. Wyatts. I am praying and trusting HE will write HIS TESTIMONY on the hearts of all of us seeking HIM.

I read the same book beginning at my arrival in unit in Vietnam. There was plenty enough to be fearful of, and being a cherry and reading that book put me in a depression that showed on my countenance. And though Yahovah knew me then, I didn't know Him. Praise His Name, now i know some of His greatness now, and teach it to all who will hear.

I know where u r coming from. I got out of that ministry years ago. They were sick. Thank God he opened up my eyes after a few years in the ministry. Now I’m in a wonderful church where GOD is the lord and His Word is preached and practiced

The good thing about it is, it's free. So many authored the "Hebraic Roots Bible" and I only trusted Don Esposito. I wanted a hard bound copy and at Amazon, it's several of them and not authored by Don Esposito.

We were in the way together. We met in Temple Hills Maryland. I'm so glad to see how the Lord is leading you and so many others who were with us right? His power is still in our lives and in a mighty way. I became a Sabbath keeper about 20 years ago now. I've often wanted to find some of the music that was in the cult by Stevie K, and by Joyful Noise. Haven't been able to locate any but I felt some of it was just the best I'd ever heard.
Beautiful testimony. How I long to be taken back to that place where every day I feel positioned by Him to do His will.

And the rivalry between the Yellow Jackets football team and an entire town called Belding. Our mode of transport was a '56 Ford wagon, with a three on the floor.

I think truly, a man whom loves God, more than he loves his own comfort; now that's real courage, a rarity in this western Church era of consumer suburban easybelifism Christianity. Very refreshing, and truly illuminating, much here of value and import. Will continue to watch some more.

I may not agree with all his doctrines , but the Kingdom of God is not doctrines per say , but is Righteousness , peace and joy in The Holy Spirit of God .We all still see through a dark glass . If he is of Jewish heritage by birth , he may feel compelled to be circumcised and keep the Saturday Sabbath , but no gentile need to be . Paul says that if you get circumcised that you are a debtor to keep the whole law . The problem is that the law is what points the BIG finger of God at you as LAWBREAKER ! As the law says " Cursed shall be everyone who does not CONTINUALLY do ALL things written in the book of the law to do them . Paul makes this very clear . Read Acts chapter 15. This matter was discussed and was found to be not applicable to gentile converts , and The entire letter to the Galatians , Romans 7:7 makes it glaringly obvious that the law we are not under is the ten commandment law given to Moses . This applies to believers born of The Holy Spirit . There is a new covenant made and comes with one commandment found in John 13:34-35. If you seek to be justified by works you are fallen from grace . God accepts no mans work for right standing with Himself . If He did , Jesus came here for no reason . The very righteousness of Jesus Himself is imputed to every believer by God Himself . The one who knew NO sin became sin for ME that I might be made the very righteousness of God In Jesus . Right standing with YAHOWAH Himself is a gift to you purchased on the cross by the LOVE of The Son for you . The Sabbath day was a shadow of this age we are now in where no work shall be done . God said in Genesis 2:1-3 that He finished His work and rested . But Jesus comes along healing and plucking ears of corn on the Sabbath and gets accused of violating the law ! What was Jesus's response ? He said " My Father is working up until now and has sent Me to finish His work " ! What was Jesus's last words on the cross ? " It is finished " .The true Sabbath of rest began the day Jesus sat down at the Fathers right hand waiting until all His enemies are put under His feet . We enter His rest by doing nothing for salvation but trusting in His finished work on the cross . We have good deeds to do but has no bearing on our standing because Jesus makes the born twice believer perfect in His sight . For you are complete in Jesus lacking NOTHING . You have been crucified , buried and resurrected already in Jesus the day you were born of The Holy Spirit and are no longer of this world but an ambassador of Heaven .It is finished
And that way I no longer a pastor, I do not go to church, the thing that go on.sicking , I understand want you feel and gone throw . Mr rood now I just work go home study eat go to bed. Out of minstry for 20 years.

Yes,Michael. I can relate to this. However, I had a Damascus experience with Jesus Christ and this changed me totally. I was working at a major university at the time and read the Bible every chance I got. I quickly learned the difference between religion and relationship. Called in 1977 I have served the Lord as Paul did.....so many stories...so many miracles....still going strong at my age. ....no religion for me thanks. His best, brother....keep walking in Him. Numbers 6: 24-27.

Absolutely riveting! I think it was because my roommate isn't convinced the Bible is all real and accurate and he's pretty much a science guy, and pretty rational, I looked up Noah's ark and discovered Ron Wyatt. From there I discovered you and your program, and spent all day in into the night, etc. looking and listening to the you tube stuff. Just like you, I'm almost throwing my hands up in the air and asking, why isn't this on national TV and the news, etc. Chariots under the sea and melted sand where the pillar of fire was. I've been a skeptic most of my life, but I've had a few experiences also, that made me think Jesus is real, this whole thing is real. I need to get as real as I can with this, but for about the last 3 or 4 months, I feel like God has completely left me, wondering now, if I've committed the unpardonable sin, but I'm still riveted by your story, Ron's adventures, and of course the Sodom and Gomorrah videos too. I've wondered for years if that was true, and now I'm convinced that, and these other things, Red Sea, Ark of the covenant, and others are really true. I just hope I haven't lost my relationship with God. I need to get it back if I can. Thank you for sharing your story. It's a wonderful, faith building story. Marc Trainor.
