Hi! I did this exercise on Wednesday night as my baby was breech. I was scheduled for an ECV on Friday. When I arrived, the doctor said I wasn't a good candidate for that procedure and a C-section was inevitable. However, when they did another ultrasound, my baby was head down! I'm 38 weeks for reference. Thank you so much!

Hi, I came to know in my 37 week that my baby turned from cephallic to breech position. I was recommended ECV procedure with 50/50 chance of moving back to cephallic. My ECV was confirmed and scheduled for the following week. In this one week daily at night I practiced your exercises for 45 mins (15 mins per exercise as you recommend) and I would sleep. One week later on the day of ECV the dr confirmed via Ultrasound the baby moved to cephalic again! Thank you so so much ❤❤

Yall it worked! Baby A flipped head down at my 36 week check up. I went into labor spontaneously at 38 weeks and delivered Baby A head down. Baby B was breach but flipped to head down during labor or something so she came out head down an hour after I delivered baby B. So thankful I got to have an unmedicated vaginal delivery like I was praying for. I did these stretches every other night and inversions everyday.

Hi. At 31 weeks you still have lots of time for the baby to move. I would do this video twice a week. Do the side-lying release video twice a week too. You could follow these by the forward leaning inversion, especially if there is any sign of the baby starting to engage. Also the biomechanics sequence whenever you feel like it.

Hii Tessa, i m 34 weeks pregnant and my baby is in breech postion , should i do this excercise or not ...my next appointment is after 15 days .... I really want normal delivery... eagerly waiting for your reply 😢
Currently 37 weeks and 4 days (with normal AFI). Baby has been in transverse position for the past 2 weeks and we're getting very worried as I plan to give birth naturally - vaginally (scared to do c-section). Have done quite a lot of walking and exercises, baby moves head down with the flashlight method but goes back to transverse when we turn off the light 😔 will try your exercises today and hopefully baby turns head down for good. 🙏
I would only do it once but stay as long as possible (up to 15 mins) in each position. If you want to do other things try the videos on Side-lying release and Forward leaning inversion
hii tessa, i am 32 week pregnant and my baby is in breach position. i am doing this exercise since last week but nothing changed. please suggest something tessa.
Yes! I would try it once every day and also do the side lying release once a day too (see my other video) If you have access to a chiropractor or osteopath who specialises in pregnancy, I would suggest this too as you’re so close to your due date. Best wishes
It’s a chiropractic technique. Cord prolapse can occur in labour when the cervix is dilated - I’ve never heard of it happening with this technique when membranes are intact
@@abhishek5932hello. Is the baby breech and on the right side? Definitely always do the technique on both sides because it’s about balancing. The only reason not to do one side is if it is very uncomfortable to lie on that side. Best wishes
Hi Pooja. I would start by sleeping on your left side, but don’t worry if you need to turn in to your right. Most important thing is that you’re comfortable and can relax as much as possible. Good luck!
Please do my other video with the Side Lying Release every day. Do this video once a week. Your baby still has lots of time to move. Try to keep active to encourage your baby to move to another position

Hi I am in my 33 week old pregnant and my baby is in transverse position I have started this yoga from today can somebody please please let me know how many time in day we have to do this and until how many days we can do this
Once a day in enough, but please build up to 15 mins in each position of you can. At 33 weeks, do it every other day. If you want to do something else, do the side lying release technique and any pregnancy yoga sequences. Best wishes
Hi Teresa! My baby 36 weeks is in the breech position. I can stay for 5 min each position. How many times I have to do that per day in this week? My next scan will be to 37 weeks. Thank you!
Hello Irina. At 36 weeks, I would do this one day and then the side-lying release (see my other video) the next day. Alternate through the week. Try to do them before you go to sleep/ go for a nap because this is when the baby is most likely to turn.
I am in 32 week n my baby position is transverse Lie so how many times Should i do this Exercise..Please help me out i am so worried i want a normal healthy delivery..thanks?
Hello, good day! Im from the philippines. May I ask if i can do this exercise even though Im 29 weeks pregnant because I found out my baby is transverse
There’s a video of a routine for 18 mins with biomechanics techniques. It’s myself and a pregnant lady in the photo. You can try this for more positions to help the baby move. Well done. Keep trying.
Hello. I would try lying on your side without cushions and let your top foot rest in the bed / floor. If that feels ok, you could proceed to one cushion under your hip but no more. (Make sure you do both sides) Best wishes
My baby is 33 week transverse lie position which week I can start this yoga ?? Can I start this exercises 33 week pregnancy or not?? Is this exercise safe 33 week pregnancy?
I can’t see any reason why not because the muscles we’re focusing on won’t put in the cervical stitch. However, I would start with the side lying exercises first and only for 5 minutes each side. If everything feels ok, continue to 10 mins the next day, then 15 mins. After that add in the back lying position too for 5 mins etc Best wishes
Hi Tahira. 25 weeks is early so the baby may turn my him/her self. However, there's no harm in doing the exercise once a week at this stage of pregnancy. Generally, try to keep active. I would also recommend the Side-Lying Release - see my other video on this and do it twice a week. Best wishes
Hii , I'm in 33 weeks of pregnancy and in the growth scan baby position is cephalic. However the baby's position would be changing for few more weeks. Can you pls suggest me which helps me for a normal delivery and get baby's position to cephalic.
Hi. If the baby is currently head down then I would suggest doing my Side lying release video instead. Try not to worry too much. Avoid slouching back when sitting - sit tall or slightly leaning forward.
I am 36 week pregnant. I had a growth scan at 33 weeks and on that scan we saw that single loop of cord around the baby's neck. And amniotic fluid is also slightly excessive. Position is cephalic with fetal spine to the left side. But now doctor told my baby is in breech position. Shall i try this or not?
It's quite normal to have the cord looped around the neck, even twice. With extra amniotic fluid the baby is more likely to move around. I would still do the exercise as it's working on the muscles of your body to make space so that the baby can move if they want to rather than forcing the baby to move. I would do the exercise twice a week before a nap or before bed at night.
I’m now not sure if the baby turned or not, im 35 weeks pregnant and have an appointment after 9 days, should i do them now or wait the ultrasound , i would be 36 weeks plus 3 then
@@shekkharbteng719523 weeks is early, but you can start doing the exercise if you wish. I would start with the side lying release - see my other video. Make sure the top hip is stacked over the bottom hip. Also join a pregnancy movement class or follow my 30 min pregnancy videos.
If your baby is head down and back to back, yes very possible for VBAC. Try the side lying release video and when sitting lean forwards to encourage baby’s back to move away from yours. Best wishes
Hi Mounika. It’s still early in your pregnancy so don’t worry yet about the transverse lie. For 9/10 women a low lying placenta will move so try not to worry. I encourage you to keep active to help the transverse position - the birth prep sequence with biomechanics would be good. The video is 18 mins long
@@TessayogaUk Dr. Said to keep pillow under d legs and sleep. Pls help me mam 1st baby girl normal delivery, this my 2nd pregnancy,,, what should I do wid low lying placenta with margin 3.5cm from OS
@@mounikasomani461 yoga can’t help a low lying placenta. It will either move as the baby grows and the uterus gets bigger or it won’t. You have a 90% chance that it will move. You could do relaxations to help with the anxiety you’re feeling - see my other videos
I would focus on doing my pregnancy yoga videos and keeping active. If baby is transverse or breech at 30+ weeks, can start to do this video. Best wishes
I’ve been having sciatica issues. Found out today at 33.1 weeks that baby is transverse. I tried this today and it pulls on my back too much. Any tips?
Hi Alexis. Try the Side Lying Release video instead, but with your leg resting onto something lower than your sofa / couch / bed. Eg. If you're lying on a bed, rest your foot onto a chair next to it so it's supported rather than free-hanging, to get a gentler stretch. If you have access to a chiropractor or osteopath who specialises in pregnancy, I would definitely book in to help the sciatica and transverse lie. Good luck!
It can work. I would combine it with the forward leaning inversion for best results. The main aim is to create more space internally so the baby has chance to move into an easier position. Good luck
@@sush282hi. I would ask your care giver if they think pregnancy yoga would be suitable for you to do. If so, these exercises would fall within that remit. The exercises shouldn’t pull on the umbilical cord in anyway but good to check first.
Thanks a lot again for clearing my doubts …forward leaning will be folding our legs at the back and carry out leaning for 15 mins??? Can I perform after having my dinner in the night ??? How much gap do we need to maintain after meal/dinner …sry to trouble you
@@sush282 Watch my Forward Leaning Inversion video first. I would only hold it for 3 mins. Then rest for a few minutes. You can repeat if you want. Do BEFORE eating. So FLI before dinner, then this exercise before bed. Best wishes
Hi LadyBird! I wouldn't worry too much yet as your baby has time to turn - you could do this video from 35 weeks if baby has turned yet. I would start doing my other video ruclips.net/video/F6WTxRxFTlA/видео.html Preparation for labour yoga sequence weekly or twice a week if you have time. Good luck!
Hi Fauzia. Only once a day. Best to do this exercise before a nap or going to sleep so that baby can turn when you’re resting and relaxed afterwards. 2 or 3 times a week should be enough. Let me know if it helps.
@@fauziazawed9898 yes still possible. Did you try the exercises? Any movement of the baby? Also do the pregnancy yoga videos - being in hands and knees and the other movements will all help
Hi Ranjana. Congratulations on your pregnancy with twins! Yes but i would do up to 5 mins in each position the first time and see how you feel. Then could increase to 10 the next time. Any feeling that it’s too uncomfortable or not feeling right in some way, come out immediately. Trust your instincts. Let me know how it goes
Yes you can do it twice a day. Best before a nap or going to sleep at night. Also try my video on the forward leaning inversion once a day (after this exercise). If it’s tight internal muscles that are stopping your baby from turning it should work within a few days. Best wishes!

Flashlight method?? Guess I’m trying that too 😅
Hello I am 38 week running pregnant, my baby is in Vertex position, can I do this excerise
If your baby is head down you can safely do this technique but I would do the side-lying release exercise instead - see my video on that one.
Can we do this exercise 2or 3 three times in a day @Yoga with Teesa
I would only do it once but stay as long as possible (up to 15 mins) in each position. If you want to do other things try the videos on Side-lying release and Forward leaning inversion

Now i am 33 weeks pregnant. My baby like Traverse Position. And , which weeks i have to start excercise like this .plz reply
Hello. Am 39 weeks and 4 days and the baby is breech. Can this exercise help me?
Yes! I would try it once every day and also do the side lying release once a day too (see my other video)
If you have access to a chiropractor or osteopath who specialises in pregnancy, I would suggest this too as you’re so close to your due date. Best wishes
It's ok to make it on bed? I don't have a yoga mat... Directly on the floor I think isn't going to be good, right?
I need to turn my baby 🙏😅
Yes you can do it on a firm bed or put a blanket on the floor if your mattress is soft. Also try my side-lying release video
What is the best position to sleep after?
On your left side as the right side of the uterus is flatter. Don’t worry if you have to turn over on to your right side during the night though
Is there any risk of cord prolapse or in some cases cord in baby neck so doing these stretches were safe?
It’s a chiropractic technique. Cord prolapse can occur in labour when the cervix is dilated - I’ve never heard of it happening with this technique when membranes are intact
If the baby on right side then also my wife can do both side exercise left and right ?
@@abhishek5932hello. Is the baby breech and on the right side? Definitely always do the technique on both sides because it’s about balancing. The only reason not to do one side is if it is very uncomfortable to lie on that side. Best wishes
How many times do this exercise im 33 weeks baby was transverse lie
Hello. Once a day. The baby should have turned within the week if the exercise can help. Sometimes it happens after the first time. Best wishes.
I’m 30w3d and my baby is transverse but I do have a heart shaped uterus. Will I still be able to get my baby head down with this technique?
Hi @yogabyTessa - after doing these exercise . How should we sleep in which position
Hi Pooja. I would start by sleeping on your left side, but don’t worry if you need to turn in to your right. Most important thing is that you’re comfortable and can relax as much as possible. Good luck!
Hi there,im 31to32weeks and mine is also in transverse position please pray for me
Please do my other video with the Side Lying Release every day. Do this video once a week. Your baby still has lots of time to move. Try to keep active to encourage your baby to move to another position

@@TessayogaUk I ll try and I let you know how it goes, thank you !😊

Hello, good day! Im from the philippines. May I ask if i can do this exercise even though Im 29 weeks pregnant because I found out my baby is transverse
Yes you can do the exercises at 29 weeks.
Hi am 36 weeks 5 days pregnant with baby in transverse position. How many times can i try these positions to turn my baby head down?
Hi. Once a day is enough. You can also try Forward Leaning Inversion
Thank you. Any specific time for trying forward leaning inversion? And 30sec is enough?
Hi mam. Tried both for a week.. still the baby is in a transverse position. Anything else can I try?
There’s a video of a routine for 18 mins with biomechanics techniques. It’s myself and a pregnant lady in the photo. You can try this for more positions to help the baby move. Well done. Keep trying.
Hello mam, i am 34 weeks pregnant with cervical cerclage because of short cervix and my baby is transverse can I do this exercise please reply mam 🙏🏻🥺
Hello. I would try lying on your side without cushions and let your top foot rest in the bed / floor. If that feels ok, you could proceed to one cushion under your hip but no more. (Make sure you do both sides) Best wishes
Maam i am 32 weeks pregnant having tranverse positions how many times a week i should do these exercises please reply ma'am
At 32 weeks, you could try the exercise every other day until you feel the baby has moved. e.g. if the kicks come in a different place.

My baby is 33 week transverse lie position which week I can start this yoga ?? Can I start this exercises 33 week pregnancy or not?? Is this exercise safe 33 week pregnancy?
Yes good to do now. The sooner the better before the baby gets bigger. Try twice a week before a nap or going to bed at night.

I am 37.1 weeks. I have been doing these exercises for 4 days. Is there a chance that the baby will turn around?
Hello, can you pls tell if I can do these exercises if I have got cervical stich and bicorn uterus?
I can’t see any reason why not because the muscles we’re focusing on won’t put in the cervical stitch. However, I would start with the side lying exercises first and only for 5 minutes each side. If everything feels ok, continue to 10 mins the next day, then 15 mins. After that add in the back lying position too for 5 mins etc Best wishes
*pull not put!
Ok thank you for the reply.
Hello it is normal that my pelvic hurts when doing this?
No your pelvis shouldn’t hurt when doing it. Please try my video either the ‘side lying release’ and see if that feels better.

It can help. Try this every day since you are 37 weeks. Also look at the forward leaning inversion video. Best wishes

It’s best to do it before you go to sleep - either for a nap or to bed for the night.

Im 25 weeks pregnant. Can I do this exercise? My baby is in breech position.
Hi Tahira. 25 weeks is early so the baby may turn my him/her self. However, there's no harm in doing the exercise once a week at this stage of pregnancy. Generally, try to keep active. I would also recommend the Side-Lying Release - see my other video on this and do it twice a week. Best wishes
Am 37weeks and just found out my baby is in transverse position, how many times can i do this exercise?

Yes
Hii ,
I'm in 33 weeks of pregnancy and in the growth scan baby position is cephalic.

Hi Mounika. It’s still early in your pregnancy so don’t worry yet about the transverse lie. For 9/10 women a low lying placenta will move so try not to worry.

Good luck!
Hi can you plz tell me if this works for frank breech babies??? 30 weeks pregnant
It can work. I would combine it with the forward leaning inversion for best results. The main aim is to create more space internally so the baby has chance to move into an easier position. Good luck
Thanks a lot for the reply Appreciate your help 😀 I have velementous placenta so do you think it works for me ??? Or is it risky to perform
@@sush282hi. I would ask your care giver if they think pregnancy yoga would be suitable for you to do. If so, these exercises would fall within that remit. The exercises shouldn’t pull on the umbilical cord in anyway but good to check first.
