You’ve outdone yourself once again Joe. The cinematography is absolutely… well… there aren’t enough superlatives in my vocabulary to do your work justice 👍🏽👏🏽
You are too easily side tracked by those side tracks, ... for very good reason. Such views! Was waiting at the bus stop to head to the hospital again a couple of weeks back. A tour bus passed the stop and pulled in just before the city bus. The little fella waiting to go to town waved at the tour bus driver. A couple of minutes later my phone is ringing, my twin. I was able to tell the little guys mum the driver liked the wave. I reckon you caught him on camera taking a tour when you were on the west coast stopping to check the Hokitika Gorge.
thank you as always for the support mate. It's those small gestures that make the world a better place. Oh really, it amazing how many people I have passed or randomly bumped into when riding.
Hey Joe. Absolutly loving this series. Kaye and i just got back from touring Nepal with Two Wheeled Expedition and we are hooked. We just started a you tube channel and im doing my best to edit... after watching a couple of your videos you have inspired us and we are going back to do the passes. Booked for and going on the 5th June.25 Is there a monthly subscription of sorts that I can donate to ie patron. Just easier and won't forget to show our appreciation. Keep up the good work .mate, you rock. Warren and Kaye Thompson.
So I’m looking to book a trip in this region and was wondering if you had looked into other tour operators or have had experiences with others. I’m not necessarily looking for luxury accommodations and such per se but am not ruling it out. I know there are many but would like to hear from people who may have used various operators.
Hi Warren and Kaye, thank you for the support it is greatly appreciated and does make it possible for me to be able to film more of these journeys. Nepal would have been awesome, hopefully i'll be able to explore there one day. You'll enjoy the Ladakh region, so many places to explore. I don't have a patron but people kept asking how they can support the channel so I created what I could fuel support on my print website www.joeryan.store/store/youtube-channel-support I'll have a look as It might have a subscription section I can set up, I'll let you know. Thanks again for the support.
@marko9010 we went through two wheeled expeditions for nepal and they were awesome highly recommend it is a well oiled business. We are not going through a tour company to do the high passes in India Himalayans just renting bikes and following Joe's map. Hope this helps. Kaye 😁
I just want to say that, after a long and stressful week, it's a relaxing way to wind down by watching Joe go places, do stuff and say things. Although the dodgy quarry roads in northern India are not on my fun list - too many difficult moments out of signal and alone on local adventures have given me the fear. Happy to watch other's fear from a safe distance.
Thank you for this amazing series, Joe. The joyful calmness in your videos combined with the serene beauty of the mountains is truly outstanding. Keep inspiring!
The opening scene is just stunning, and to think that you only saw it because you turned off to ride up some random dirt track to the top of a hill. Fantastic episode, as usual.
Yer there group of hills blocked most of the valley as I rode towards it so to crest the top of the small hill and see into that valley was a surprise at how stunning it was. As always thanks for watching Pippa.
I'm riding to Padum in July, and based on your comments Joe I'm going to add an extra night there so that we have time to go further up the Zanskar Valley, with a full tank :) Excellent video again!
Thank you for the continued support Frank, it is making a big difference. It's always great to hear you are still enjoying the series. The valley in this one was all about the massive mountains, it's hard to capture the scale of them on camera. As always thanks for watching
@freewayproject I think I speak for everyone who watches your videos when I say, your cinematography is amazing and you capture those mountains magnificently. You are very talented.
OMG, Wow mate what jaw dropping beauty and adventure you've done. You're living life mate. May U go on n live such an epic life for decades to come! Now I hv to go to the Himalayas on a Himalayan 😍
That bike will want more than a service when you give / gave it back. A trail bike may well be more suitable for a lot of your ride. Thanks for showing us the sights, glorious mountains and river streams and odd cow.
I took my Himalayan 411 over a lot hasher terrain and it's still going strong at 50,000km with no issue as that is what they are build for, so the 450 should and has been eating these roads and tracks up, the suspension on the 450 is a massive improvement on the pervious version. It was an incredible valley to ride through (I may have said that for many of the valleys haha) so massive mountains. It great to hear you enjoyed the episode and thanks for watching.
Another wonderful production. Another 20 minute escape from my office chair to an adventure in the Himalayas... Thanks Joe, your videos really inspire me. Be safe
It was an amazing valley to ride into, the size of the mountains either side just does not come through on the video, it was truely breathtaking. As always thanks for watching.
well ... i have to say that this is one of best motocycle traveling channel ever and should have IMHO much more views...i start follow when you are in New Z. and just watch every episode since...as i am also a photographer with mainly black and white stuff but also landscapes - some of your videos just look beautiful... I am little too old and scared of falls to have a motorcycle now (have a few in my youth) but i watching your videos is kind of compensate this....
Thanks Denis, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series and have watched the NZ one as well. I'd like to do more black and white, I just haven't had the time to really work it out, being about to look at the landscape and envision what setting are needed, how to take the photos to get the best result, I need a lot more practice at it. The issue I have taking photos while riding is I am normally on the move and although I would love to be able to stop and wait for the right light I have to deal with the light that's there, but sometimes it does line up, I get to a stunning landscape with the right light. Thanks for watching.
Great going Joe. ❤. It's very peaceful to watch you exploring the mighty Himalayas where we get to feel the life flowing inside us. Always love your use of our "indian shortcuts" keeping balance of thrill sense and making full use of the machine in your joirney. Keep going man, nature is waving at you.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. I am a fan of many Indian things, oh how I love butter chicken but the Indian short cuts have to be my favourite. Thanks for watching.
C'est toujours agréable d'entendre que vous appréciez chaque épisode, cette vallée était un régal pour les yeux, tant de hautes montagnes magnifiques et uniques. Merci d'avoir regardé et commenté, cela aide beaucoup.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. It helps that there are so many amazing landscapes to film and take photos of, I keep thinking what's going to be around the next corner. Thanks for watching.
That is countryside not many people experience Joe, now we are seeing it on the bike trip, awesome, the road construction is obviously on going and those bridges simple yet strong and sturdy which is what they need...the fact that people live and make a life in this remoteness in fantastic ..... loving this series Joe .....🦘🦘🦘
Thanks mate, as always it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. There are so many amazing unique landscapes here it is incredible. Yes there are so many water crossing here that need bridges they have worked out a simple modular solution that's fit for purpose. Yes it is remote I can only imagine what it is like in winter with all the snow. Thanks for watching.
Hi Joe, catching up on your episodes. Mate just wanted to reach out as it was you and D Hayes that inspired me to get off my couch and ride around Australia (albeit i didnt plan it... it just happened). Keep up the inspiring work, cheers Paul
Absolute beauty. What a video! I've recently visited Ladakh but still it amazes me everytime. Great work Joe ! The shots and your commentary were perfect ! I gotta subscribe
It is an incredible place to ride. I am going to do a video on what it is like riding there as a first timer, what I learnt and some information that might help people who are thinking of going there to ride, it might interest you as it's not as out of reach as a lot of people seem to think. As always thanks for watching.
Hi Joe, wow what another wonderful ride I wish I had two legs I’ll be over there in a flash. India is such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly anyway thank you once again for a wonderful video. Keep up the good work keep that smile on your face that’s what it’s all about. , Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 I’m on the big island 🏝️
Yet another fantastic episode Joe, I love the side tracks. You must have read my mind because I was going to ask you about having some more drone footage which it looks like you will next episode, I can hardly wait. I think drone footage gives another great element and perspective to your videos. As always keep up the great work.
Thanks Mark, it's always great to hear you enjoyed the episode. There are a lot of restrictions around drones here so I can't put it up as much as I'd like, but just happy I have gotten some images and footage.
It was a stunning valley, not a famous place, just one of the side valleys but just as incredible are the others. It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
Hello Joe, another awesome video, part of the world never grow tired of seeing, it amazes me the children that always seem happy just to awake each day and find fun in there surroundings, reminds me when I was a kid and one of 5, we had each other and that was it, hope it never changes for them, do you feel pretty much any town you come to no matter how small that accommodations are pretty much guaranteed, sure seems that way which is good. Not to sure how I feel about the paving these areas yet, guess you just can’t stop progress but better for the people in these small villages. Thanks Joe as always a great video for folks like me on a very stressful world in which I live, these awesome videos calm me. Appreciated much. Rob U.S.
Yes to see the world through a child's eye where it's joy and wonder is something I think a lot of people could benefit from. Yes everywhere you can get accommodation. Jody the National Geographic photographer I meet up with, the night before she was out exploring and didn't get to a village until after dark, she asked around and got a home stay, then a child came knocked on the door and asked if they could quickly get there homework, the parents had given up the child room for her and this isn't an isolated incident, they will welcome in traveler's especially if you are on your own. Yes I'd prefer the road to be dusty goat tracks but it will make life for the locals a bit easier but also could bring a lot of issue to, as you say you can't stop progress. As always thanks for watching. next week episodes going to be a long one.
Watching this is giving me itchy feet. After doing a lap of the big island July to September the solo travel bug bites hard. Joe and amazing job as always. Thank you.
Well if you haven't ridden in the Ladakh area it's definitely worth heading over and not has hard as people think to do it solo. (I am going to do a video about that at the end of the series.) As always thanks for watching.
Fantastic view, Joe, you just made my day!! By the way, I like your expression at 21:31, funny and cute😄. Also, truly admire your spirit that you tried to explore different sites to get the best viewing points, even though you are not a local, still explore those yourself. 👍
It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Some times I look down a dirt track and there is nothing, sometimes like this one you get rewarded, either way it always fun to explore. Thanks for the support and thanks for watching.
You took some great shots this time too! I'd love to put them on a calendar. You've finally reached the glacier, so please take care of yourself and continue your journey.
Thanks mate, it's a stunning valley, yes it took a bit longer to get around to the glacier but finally made it. I'll have to do some research on making a calendar. Thanks for watching
It was an amazing valley to ride through truely like riding between giants, again the camera doesn't quite capture the grandeur of it all. As always thanks for watching Neil.
Just binge watched the entire series upto here. Got to say, amazing cinematography, photography and riding. The views are just breathtaking! Your calm voice also adds to the serene nature. You are underrated! Can't wait for the next episodes!
Another wonderful episode Joe! Your pics and Videos are spectacular to watch. Hopefully the old world charm is not lost to modernisation and tourists flooding those out of the way places. I wonder if they have the same constraints like we do with OH&S here. Maybe they are there to get the job done. I'm still impressed with your vids Joe! 👏👏👏
Thanks mate. always great to hear you are still enjoying the series. Yes I was going to put in a comment about what the people at Work Health and Safety would be thinking with guy holding metal beams with 2 ropes and a guy trying to attached it, but it may have been lost on most people except Australians haha. Yes here it's getting the job done, like when I had to stop as they cleared the landslide in episode 2 and there was still rocks falling, in OZ now one would have been allow near there and it would take them years to try and fix, here it is definitely get on with it attitude. As always thanks for watching
This is so good Best way to do motovlogg cant believe you captured the shot at( 4.13) with action camera Distant white mountain appear so good with so much of detailing 4:21
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. The light in these valleys is really good in the morning and late afternoon, it really helps light up the mountains. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Joe breath taking views and amazing phenomena are glaciers How’s the roads from one extreme to the next within km and you know the amazing thing nonstop and go people must have e a lot of common sense practices What an adventure this has been well done to be doing this all on the run. Thanks Dave
Yes that glacier was quite majestic. Yes people here do have comment sense, I think they would laugh at a stop go person with a sign and think "really, you have people that stupid they can't drive through a road works safely with out needing to be told what to do. As always thanks for watching.
yes when road up to the top of the hill and they valley started to reveal itself I was like damn you don't stumble onto that every day. Thanks for watching.
That scene on hilltop was just breathtaking. Loved it. Just one thing, if you please also include the pricing of the rooms would help a lot too. Just a suggestion
Thanks, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. I have not been keeping an exact record of things, but at the end of the series I am going to do a video on what it's like riding in the Ladakh area for the first time, what I learnt and other information that might be helpful for people who are thinking about riding there. I'll have some idea of costing there. Thanks for watching.
So all the side valleys like the one at Drang drung lead to kishtwar (cliff hanger road you rode across ). It’s a three day trek across glacial fields and insanity of mountains and moraines. Also zanskar deserves it’s own special time man, next time do make sure to visit the place and explore every bit. Your cinematography imparts an emotion which is hard to describe just like the landscape around.
I've said this before, but the sheer scale of road development in this region is nothing short of astonishing. I don't mean that in a necessarily good way. I'm sure it's great for "progress" in the region, but once I get there, there might not be much dirt left to ride.
Yes it is a tricky one, what is "good" depends on the point of view. If you have ever wanted to come ride and explore here and like riding dirt roads, tracks and trails 2025 need to be the year. As always thanks for watching.
Love your videos Joe. Excellent footage, narrative...please just check the music volume. This episode seem to be more intrusive and annoying ...😟sorry.
Hi mate, at the end of the series I am going to do a video on what it was like riding the area for the first time, what I learnt and some other information that might be helpful for someone who is thinking of riding there. I'll go over where I went in this video. Thanks for watching.
One of the most beautiful route in Ladakh. Kaargil to Padum. The initial part after Kargil woth the polar trees living up both sides of the road is beautiful. Id recommend doing this route in late September or October when autumn has set in and the leaves become different he's of orange and yellow. Stunning it is. Btw that checkpost is super dangerous. When i went through this route couple of weeks ago, there was no drums or "gate" i dicaring a checkpost and the lady sitting inisde the checkpost pulled fhe rope. I couldve had a major accident. Thankfully i was slow admiring the views.
Yes riding through those treelined road was magical. Oh to see it in Autumn would be amazing with all the different colours. Yes that does sound dangerous, well there is another reason it pays to take your time and look at the stunning views. Thanks for watching.
Another stunner Joe: Also v.impressed by the Indian's the unending battle with the elements to maintain the infrastructure up there--Stoic virtue on display?
Thanks mate, always great to hear you enjoyed it. Yes they know when they are fixing them that they'll have to do it again in the future, but without doing it people would have to walk for days of weeks to get anywhere. As always thanks for watching.
I think it safe to say Joe had his fans saying " epic" on this ride. Those mountain views haven't been seen before. I'll bet mountain climber are just twittering like crickets.❤❤😂😂
It's hard to get across the scale of these mountains, I'll be back home and see what people there say is a mountain and I'll be thinking speed bump haha. Yes there were some insane walls to climb on some of those mountains, and they just kept coming one after another for over 100km. Thanks for watching.
I said of your Aotearoa trip that you'd seen so much more than I had when I was there. I can say the same of this trip. I went Chandigarh, Shimla, Mandi, Patnitop, Srinagar, Sonamarg, Dras, Kargil, Leh, Pang, Keylong, Manali, Dehli. (Not counting several hundred km of back tracking due to landslides) I really thought I'd taken a big bite out of seeing that area, but I hadn't even scratched it.
I am sure there is so much more to discover in the area, you could keep coming back and find new places to explore each time. I mean I missed seeing places but only realised after having to back track. As you know it is an amazing place to ride. As always thanks for watching.
I am doing a video at the end of the series about what it's like to ride the Ladakh area for the first time, what i learnt and other information that might be helpful if people are thinking of riding in the area. I hope you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. There are some camping spots here but I did only a quick bit of research and it seem there weren't a lot in some area, and with the military being everywhere up hear there seem to be some restriction there to ( you would not have seen any of the military baes and no one is allow to film them). So not being sure and not having a lot of baggage allowance on the flight, I left the tent home this time.
HI mate, for the footage from the bike I am using a DJI Osmo action, for all other filming I am using a Sony A7SIII, for taking photos I am using an old Sony A7RIII from 2017 but it still takes a decent image. I only have space for 2 lenses which are a Sony GM 24mm 1.4 and a Sony GM 70mm - 200mm 2.8
Brilliant Jorney and video Sir...Thank you..would love to know which cameras you use Joe, it would greatly help me choose the gear i plan to pick up soon. Thanks
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. There is a gear video on the channel with the film gear I use at the end but here is a summary. For the footage from the bike I am using a DJI Osmo action, for all other filming I am using a Sony A7SIII, for taking photos I am using an old Sony A7RIII from 2017. I only have space for 2 lenses which are a Sony GM 24mm 1.4 and a Sony GM 70mm - 200mm 2.8. I have a DJI Mavic drone
@@freewayproject Thank you so much Sir..your exposure is always bang on , and you capture the deeper and magica essence of each place even on the Action Cams..can see for miles and miles and miles ...Cheers and all the very best Always....
I don't know if I could ride six hours of that track and get back on my bike again, but, I'm 30 to 40 years older than you. 🙄🤣 Looking at 5 to 6 hours today myself, but, it's all tarmac. Heading back to the mountains of Oaxaca for more exploration. As always, some really beautiful pics, it makes me dream of riding it myself.
I'm starting to work out 7 hours is now comfortable for me after that i start to get sore. I had a quick google of Oaxaca, the mountains around look awesome but the town itself look stunning (that's if I google the right place). Have fun out there.
@@freewayproject Oaxaca is a Mexican state, but, Oaxaca is also the capital city, so you most likely found it. I did five and a half hours of road today, and towards the end my hands were cramping pretty bad. I'm going to replace my grips with something better, I hope it will help. I replaced my bent bars with a Pro Taper CR bend, they’re comfortable, but the grips, not so much.
I rode there in August, it takes me quite a while to edit each episode, they why they are still coming out now. I hope you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
Love your work man, and always happy to see the notification to pop up and watch the latest. Huge inspiration! One question: what do you use for navigation? Google maps or offline maps? Cheers take care 👊
Thanks Simon, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. I am using GaiaGPS, it's easy to get the offline maps and it has the most intuitive interface (easy to use) of anything i have tried. Note, due to the Indian government wanting to monitor what is going on in the area as there is some tensions with China and Pakistan prepaid sim cards do not work in that area, stops burner phones, only phones with a contract home address work. So you need offline maps.
Great vlogs sir!!✨️👏🏼💯 But how was the wind shield preforming!? Would you go for the touring shield or keep the stock one if you would do similar long trips on the 450?
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. I am using a Sony A7RIII from 2017, it may be old but it still takes a decent image. Thanks for watching.
love your vlogs mate! I'm looking at doing a similar solo ride next year. How long was the time period you have taken to complete the entire journey and what time of the year, I am gathering it is later in the year? Look forward to hearing from you and seeing more of your work. Cheers, Beers and Best Wishes, Dave from Darwin
Hey Dave from Darwin (I grew up there, Nightcliff). I am doing a video at the end of the series on riding in the Himalayas for the first time what I learnt and other information that might help people who are thinking of riding there. But to answer your question I was there about 3 weeks (you could definitely stay longer as I miss a lot) and I was there in August, there are plus and minuses of just about every part of the year that I'll go over. It's great to hear you are enjoying the series, thanks for watching.
@@freewayproject thanks for the reply mate, I appreciate your insight and enjoy your content. I got a taste for the Himalayas in Nepal just before Covid in 2019 spending the majority of my time (6weeks) based out of Pokharaand I'm hooked!!!! Adventure riding is great within the Northern Territory and Australia but in all my travels have found nowhere on earth like the high mountains! Just stunning! So much eye candy. I am thinking of spending at lease 2 months in the Leh / Ladakh region before it gets to developed, probably renting a bike from Manali and doing as much as I can while there. I look forward to more of your vlogs, stay safe and keep it upright. Cheers n Beers
You’ve outdone yourself once again Joe. The cinematography is absolutely… well… there aren’t enough superlatives in my vocabulary to do your work justice 👍🏽👏🏽

Yes the Himalayas just keeps delivering no matter where I explore up here there is something unique and breathtaking. Thanks for watching.

Incredible beauty of India, thanks for sharing
It is just that incredibly beautiful. I glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching.
11:25 what an incredible frame! It’s always these offbeat tracks that offer the best views. Extra effort rewarded well :D
yes, they don't workout all the time but sometimes they do and are spectacular. As always thanks for watching.

21:30 Aha! We finally get a look at your face without the cap! :D
haha just some messy hair

It did drop in temperature going through the valley around the glacier. It is a stunning sight, thanks for watching

The issue I have taking photos while riding is I am normally on the move and although I would love to be able to stop and wait for the right light I have to deal with the light that's there, but sometimes it does line up, I get to a stunning landscape with the right light.
Thanks for watching.
It's amazing! Thanks for the video!
Thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
Great going Joe. ❤. It's very peaceful to watch you exploring the mighty Himalayas where we get to feel the life flowing inside us.
Always love your use of our "indian shortcuts" keeping balance of thrill sense and making full use of the machine in your joirney.
Keep going man, nature is waving at you.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. I am a fan of many Indian things, oh how I love butter chicken but the Indian short cuts have to be my favourite.
Thanks for watching.
Another magnificent episode.
Thanks mate
Thanks for another great episode Joe
You're welcome mate, it was definitely worth going the long way around.
That intro Rocks!
Great to hear you enjoyed it.
Loved the natural colour grading of the still shots at the end 😊👌 and the drone shots! Brilliant cinematography as always.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. It helps that there are so many amazing landscapes to film and take photos of, I keep thinking what's going to be around the next corner. Thanks for watching.
This sure is some trip Joe! 🏍👏😀👍🏍
It has been amazing, thanks for watching
As always... awesome videos and narration.
Thanks mate, as always it's great to hear you enjoyed it.
Hi Joe, catching up on your episodes. Mate just wanted to reach out as it was you and D Hayes that inspired me to get off my couch and ride around Australia (albeit i didnt plan it... it just happened). Keep up the inspiring work, cheers Paul
That's awesome to hear, I bet there are a lot of stories from the journey and an experience you won't forget well done.
stunning piece of art, Joe....the images and the way you show them....great stuff!
Thanks Ron, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching.
Absolute beauty. What a video! I've recently visited Ladakh but still it amazes me everytime. Great work Joe ! The shots and your commentary were perfect ! I gotta subscribe
Thanks mate, it is an amazing place to ride and explore. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series, thanks for watching.
Brilliant Joe simply Brilliant, Hit me up if you ever decide to go back this is bucket list stuff mate. Living a dream
It is an incredible place to ride. I am going to do a video on what it is like riding there as a first timer, what I learnt and some information that might help people who are thinking of going there to ride, it might interest you as it's not as out of reach as a lot of people seem to think.
As always thanks for watching.
A wonderful soul in a wonderful journey taking all the wonderful hearts along with him to be a part of wonderful nature...Joe...thank you soooo much..
Thank you, it is a special place to explore and I am very grateful I have the privilege of being here.
Thanks as always for watching.
Nice Joe, Im really enjoyng your videos, next year Im planning to go to Zanskar so Im very happy that you made it, greetings from Brazil
Thanks Ricardo, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. Yes it took a couple attempts but i got there haha. Thanks for watching.
Superb series. The photos are incredible. Thank you. Jim. Uk 👍🏼
Thanks Jim, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Thanks mate, the place just keeps delivering day after day, so many different unique places. As always thanks for watching.
Again, lovely images and sometimes very recognisable. It feels like you've been at it for months already. Looking forward to the next episode!!
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series, there is still a bit to go before the end of the journey, thanks for watching.
Good job Mate, excellent photography. Be safe on the roads that are good, bad, and ugly👌
Thanks mate, it's always great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Yes always riding well within my ability when solo.
Wow Wow Wow!
It looks epic on camera,it must be stunning riding through it all!😄
Thanks for sharing another great video 🙏🏻
You're right, although it looks good on camera it looks so much more incredible with my own eyes, thanks for watching.
11:10 The emotions I have about this are beyond words. 👍💪
@ thanks as always for your reply buddy
Absolutely stunning, thank you for taking us along for the ride and of course the amazing scenery 👏👏👏
Thanks mate, as always it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching.
(I am going to do a video about that at the end of the series.)
As always thanks for watching.
Happy birthday teacher T good video 🎉
Thanks Chris, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing your adventure with the world. Truly amazing scenery.
It is an incredible place to ride and explore, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series
That scenery,it just gets better and better 🎊 beyond words. Thanks for sharing Joe✨
The Himalayas just keeps delivery again and again and again. As always thanks for watching Geoff.
Nice to see some of the high peaks and glaciers. Also the blue sky and clouds added to the scene. Thanks
It was an amazing valley to ride through truely like riding between giants, again the camera doesn't quite capture the grandeur of it all.
As always thanks for watching Neil.
I always have to watch your videos in Theatre Mode Joe! Even from the very start, KUDOS!
well it is great to hear you are enjoying the series in theatre mode, i'll have to get myself one of those. As always thanks for watching.
Just binge watched the entire series upto here. Got to say, amazing cinematography, photography and riding. The views are just breathtaking! Your calm voice also adds to the serene nature. You are underrated! Can't wait for the next episodes!
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series, there is still a few more episodes to come. Thanks for watching.
WOW Joe. Fantastic ride. You have 'The Eye'. Beautiful......
Thanks mate, as always it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching.
i say it each time Joe, thanks brother 🙂 really makes my day watching these
It's great to hear that. The place just keeps delivering day after day, so many different unique places. As always thanks for watching.
that last gorge is brilliant , i drove thru it last time in 2016 when the road was under construction
Definitely was brilliant, i would have like to ridden it before the construction. As always thanks foe watching and commenting, it does help.
Love your videos 🙌
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series, thanks for watching
This is so good
Best way to do motovlogg
cant believe you captured the shot at( 4.13) with action camera
Distant white mountain appear so good with so much of detailing 4:21
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. The light in these valleys is really good in the morning and late afternoon, it really helps light up the mountains.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks Joe breath taking views and amazing phenomena are glaciers
How’s the roads from one extreme to the next within km and you know the amazing thing nonstop and go people must have e a lot of common sense practices
What an adventure this has been well done to be doing this all on the run.
Thanks
Dave
Yes that glacier was quite majestic. Yes people here do have comment sense, I think they would laugh at a stop go person with a sign and think "really, you have people that stupid they can't drive through a road works safely with out needing to be told what to do.
As always thanks for watching.
This adventure is the kind of thing I can only dream of at this time. Congrats, and enjoy every minute.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
That opening scence ... just incredible. 👍🎥👍
yes when road up to the top of the hill and they valley started to reveal itself I was like damn you don't stumble onto that every day.
Thanks for watching.
I really enjoyed episode 11 and can't wait for episode 12!🙂
That is great to hear David, there is a lot happening in Episode 12. Thanks for watching,
I’m still holding out watching this series until ya finished bro so I can have a big binge hehe hope ya well cobba ride safe
There's a few more episode left so it won't be long.
@ awesome im waiting bro
More awesome riding, really enjoying your adventure!👍
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are still along for the ride.
Awe inspiring road-building into a rugged wilderness.
Yes, it's a massive job.
Simply spectacular, done with your usual sensitivity and panashe.
Thanks Ralf, as always thanks for watching.
Always entertaining Joe enjoyed
It's great to hear you enjoyed it, thanks for watching.
The awesomeness never ends Joe 😳
Thank you 🙏
The place just keeps on giving, so many unique beautiful places.
It would be epic to hike across it, definitely will be coming back to explore longer and in more depth. Thanks for watching.
Magnificent Joe. Thanks
Thanks mate, yes it is an incredible place. Thanks fore watching
Breathtaking--again.
Thanks Joe
You're welcome Rob, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching.
Love your videos Joe.
Excellent footage, narrative...please just check the music volume. This episode seem to be more intrusive and annoying ...😟sorry.
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Please also make detailed video of the all route you took on map. it will be helpful.
Hi mate, at the end of the series I am going to do a video on what it was like riding the area for the first time, what I learnt and some other information that might be helpful for someone who is thinking of riding there. I'll go over where I went in this video.
Thanks for watching.
Loving these videos
Always great to hear mate, as always thanks for watching.
(Not counting several hundred km of back tracking due to landslides)
I really thought I'd taken a big bite out of seeing that area, but I hadn't even scratched it.
I am sure there is so much more to discover in the area, you could keep coming back and find new places to explore each time. I mean I missed seeing places but only realised after having to back track. As you know it is an amazing place to ride. As always thanks for watching.
I get many things to copy from you😂, thanks Joe
I am doing a video at the end of the series about what it's like to ride the Ladakh area for the first time, what i learnt and other information that might be helpful if people are thinking of riding in the area.
I hope you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching
excellent video joe ,, i always like to watch,, i see you dont do any camping, i suppose the accomadation is so cheap do you get breakfast as well.
What elevation, approximately, are those little towns along the river at?
the place I stay at Padum is around 3700m some of the section go over 4000m in the valley some parts are lower.
Lets go I am early this time.
I hope you enjoy the episode.
Incredible journey. It would be amazing to know what camera gear you use, lenses etc
@freewayproject amazing thanks Joe, your photography is incredible, and loving following your NZ and India travels
@@freewayproject Thank you so much Sir..your exposure is always bang on , and you capture the deeper and magica essence of each place even on the Action Cams..can see for miles and miles and miles ...Cheers and all the very best Always....
do you use an ND filter on the action Cam?
@@sammyutube no, I don't have one.
In which month of the year did you visit Ladakh
@@freewayproject thanks for the quick reply safe travels!
Amazing..
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
@@freewayproject
High appreciate you answer my comments..
Best regards from Indonesia
Great vlogs sir!!✨️👏🏼💯 But how was the wind shield preforming!? Would you go for the touring shield or keep the stock one if you would do similar long trips on the 450?
The shield that was on there was fine, I am 175cm, maybe if you are taller you might need the taller one but for me the stock one was fine.
Great adventure and beautiful pictures. Tell me what kind of camera you used for taking the pictures? KEEP GOING
Breathtaking ❤
Where are you heading next, Ryan?
Is it Batalik, Mulbekh(Aryan valley)?
It is an amazing valley to explore. You'll see where next week.
Sooo goood
Thanks Craig, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Thanks for watching.
Joe, thank you!
You're welcome, as always it's great to know you enjoyed the episode.
