Furys proved to be way better but it's a worthy challenge ... If Joshua can grind it with the right strategy or even with will and commitment who know wat can happen. Joshua did rise up above his level against wlad. Not discrediting fury for Wilders win but Wilders win has put fury at a very high regard but wilder was a one punch artist. Fury has had issues with lower level. Fighters who were well rounded. All in all an interesting fight
Common guys, cut AJ some slack. He's had just 2 losses so far. Even the best of the best heavy weights had multiple losses and still went on to have a wonderful boxing career. Name it, tyson, evander, Ali, lenox, foreman, just to mention a few. In the current division, AJ has fought the best boxers out there, he never ducked any challenger, he faced all foes and even mandatories. Who else In the current crop of boxers has fought bigger fights than AJ.? Let's give the dude some respect cos he's achieved so much in such a short time. If he wins or losses against usyk at the rematch, AJ still goes down as one of the best.
Who has AJ fought who wasn't already beaten, or wasn't 40 plus years old? He got battered and quit against Ruiz, a nobody, then got bullied for 12 rounds and taught a boxing lesson by Usyk. AJ will never go down as the best. When Usyk beats him with ease again, he'll become irrelevant.
@a pimp named Mdot I haven't mentioned Ortiz once mate. Typical AJ fan. You only rate Ruiz to try and justify AJ quitting against him. His record isn't much different to Wilders, 30 plus wins against nobodies. The only notable name on his record before AJ was Parker, and he lost that. He didn't do anything before AJ and hasn't done anything since, but because he battered AJ, suddenly he's world class? So wilder has only fought 2 decent opponents, Ortiz and Fury, and Ruiz has only fought 2 decent opponents, Parker and AJ, but Wilder is the worst boxer ever, and Ruiz is world class? Notice how hypocritical that is?

AJ has one of the best chins around, though I agree that his recovery rate is quite slow. Against Wlad, AJ took more than 10 clean shots in round 5 alone and was still standing at the end of the round. He later won the fight in a devastating fashion. Against, Whyte, he took Whyte best shots yet weather the storm. Against Povetkin, he took 3 of Sasha's best shots yet stood firm and later won. That same uppercut was what Sasha dropped Whyte with. Against Usyk, who is arguable the best pugilist in this era, he did 24 rounds with him while receiving ceaseless attacks from a guy that is immune to fatigue, yet he was never dropped. Meanwhile, Fury with his impressive speed. body movement and leg work have dropped more times than AJ.

What I don't get is why most these folks in the thread hate Joshua so much. Where are the boxers you love who didn't consider to unify all belts or perhaps were incapable ?
It's mainly because of how over confident and deluded his fans are. Even after he got battered by Ruiz and quit like a coward, they still make out he's a god. He beats an old nobody like Pulev, who past his best about 10 years ago, and his fans make out its an amazing victory. The truth is, AJ only looks good against 40 year olds. He was so self conscious about being a "boxer" he became paralyzed. Bizarre to see a Champion in that position. That laughing thing he does when he gets in trouble and tries to pretend it's not happening is a clear sign of massive ego, denial and a deep down lack of confidence in his own ability. @@rossco2782 Wilder ran from AJ. Fury runs from most challenges. Both of those fights would've been made a long time ago if either of those guys actually wanted it
Bottom line he does not do well with fast hands. The Ruiz and Usyk fights were all about their fast hands and how he didn't have any timing for them. Even Whyte had faster hands than him and that's what got him in trouble in that fight too. He does well when he's able to fight at a distance and guys don't get inside his range cuz his longer arms are naturally slower than him. Man if Manny Stewart was still alive he could have really helped him.
Ruiz was also an issue because he had a monster chin and wasn't getting buzzed by AJ's shots. Ruiz more so ran through him but he didn't box enough on the backfoot which could have won him the fight. Whereas Usyk won because of superior movement, timing, use of angles,, and skill more than anything. If they sat and traded AJ would have a better chance vs Usyk than Ruiz because though Usyk has faster hands, he won't be able to take as many shots from AJ as Ruiz did. AJ also has more power than Usyk and he messed up in Ruiz 1 because he never effectively clinched him (but he did in Ruiz 2).
Even he has Manny Stewart, that Joshua is slow lumbering full of muscle, with glass jaw/chin and questionable stamina. He is lucky to last the first round against Fury or Wilder. He is like a Michael Grant that Lewis demolished.
All the greatest heavyweight boxers in history got knocked down / out in their career. AJ won his first world title during his 15th fight and unified the division at only his 19th professional fight, which is ridiculously fast, most don't reach world title levels until their 25th to 30th fight. He has fought the most world champions & dangerous would-be usurpers, literally 70% of the Top 10 of the last 7 years in the division, and only lost twice. One he has already avenged by out-boxing Ruiz and winning 10 out of 12 rounds, the other he lost to a boxing scientist, which he will need to avenge with his raw power. In-fact if he can overcome Usyk, who is a existential threat to the ENTIRE division, his follow-up fights for undisputed will be much easier because AJ notoriously struggles against shorter boxers but absolutely dismantles boxers of the same height or taller than him.

That laughing thing he does when he gets in trouble and tries to pretend it's not happening is a clear sign of massive ego, denial and a deep down lack of confidence in his own ability. He did an interview while playing chess which completely exposed him from a psychological point of view. He underestimated his opponent because he was more interested in what people thought about him, was out of his depth, got battered and then seemed surprised when he lost even though it was obvious to anyone who plays he didn't really understand the game properly.

CAN knock people out. And he's the best out there full stop. Why can't people give him credit. He also does what he says he's going to do. AJ is one dimensional with no skills. Whyte isn't as good, strong or powerful. Wilder is just a one trick pony who has no sportsmanship. Andy Ruiz won't beat Fury. And I actually like usyk he's Pukka but again unfortunately isn't on the same level as Fury. And as for dumb lol. Happy new year peanut
@@mickeydjenumbersdawes5335 Fury has been down more times than AJ!!!!!!! 7 times in total!!!!!!!! Tf are you talking aboooouuuutttt!!!!!!!!! and against LOWER TIER OPPONENTS, Fury is very very hit-able
@@thebrutalbritishgentleman
But he got back up. Plus does that actually win fights then, does it??? Just take a look at AJ has fought then. When Ruiz hit him, his head rattled. When AJ fought Klitschko he gassed out. Unfortunately AJ has no stamina and is open to getting ruined. I like oysk. But he isn't good enough for Fury. Come on then you tell me who's the best out there then. The answer to that question is no-one. No-one is better than the gypsy king. Simple as that. And I bet you he retains all the belts. So stop giving me shit for my opinion. Come on prove there's someone else in the heavy weight division who's better then. Go away and grow a brain. Just because you people can't give the guy credit. That's your problem. He'll beat them all, just you all wait. I have no doubts what so ever. Put your money where your mouths are.
AJ will have to get into an absolute battle with Usyk if he wants to give himself any chance of winning. Its not going to be easy and this will define AJs entire career. ITS A MASSIVE FIIGHT...bigger than the first one.
From that short guy he fought in Cardiff I think Joshua struggles with short boxers.
Yeah ...I have observed that also
He would not last with 90s heavyweights that's for sure
Wow didn’t realize AJ has taken so much punishment over his career.. not even considering damage done sparring!
Can't wait for the 3rd when Usyk schools him again 🤣
Not a betting man. Ever. But I'm tempted to back Usyk in the rematch.
Buen muchacho Anthony Jhosua
Fury beats AJ with one hand....
At least Captain Snickers showed AJ the dark side of boxing !
15 more seconds 12th rnd with Usyk, good nite...AJ once caught,he gets stunned,i think the reason to why he is nowadays scared going toe to toe

Problem with Joshua is the build up fights have no bad blood, he’s go in there all calm he more of an aggressive fighter, but only person who ever got him so mad was Whyte, problem is he needs a new coach, he’s so prideful and stuck in his old ways.
AJ it’s definitely done

This guy can retire

No HW contender has any real skills except Usyk and Fury. Just a lot of big boys swingin
I never saw Joshua as someone "that good" in heavyweight. Got a good record for fighting weak opponents. Almost lost to good one.
Only Fury, Wilder, dont fight with him... who not weak?
@@vonShluker Joshua wouldn't stand a chance against wilder or fury
@@rossco2782 Wilder ran from AJ. Fury runs from most challenges. Both of those fights would've been made a long time ago if either of those guys actually wanted it
@@leighjordine4031 Wilder?…. LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who has been facing good opponents? Fury? Wilder?
Everyone thinks muscles will beat anyone in boxing... it's natural raw strength that does the job..
Ruiz was slangin those thangs
สุดยอดทั้งคู่ครับ👍👍
I see your point in general but Whyte has faster hands? Are you drunk? 😂
Even he has Manny Stewart, that Joshua is slow lumbering full of muscle, with glass jaw/chin and questionable stamina. He is lucky to last the first round against Fury or Wilder. He is like a Michael Grant that Lewis demolished.
AJ can dance!!! it's so fun to watch!!!
Would he of won any title if fury didn't have to give them up
I thought to unify he had to win the wbc
Nah …..he’s a good fighter but not one of the greats.
@@andrewelcox4593 that's Undisputed, becoming Unified is a level below that. The last Undisputed Champion was Lennox Lewis, which is why the whole thing about Fury retiring is tiresome because that's what he should be trying to become.
@@billybatts8963Fury was caught using nandrolone steriods, that's not AJ's fault. Still, a good question, but unfortunately with Fury leaving again, its a question that might never be answered the same way we will never know if Vitali would have defeated Lennox in a rematch or whether the younger Wladimir would have been too much for the reigning Lennox if they had faced each-other.
