Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (IATA: ATL, ICAO: KATL, FAA LID: ATL), also known as Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Atlanta Airport, Hartsfield, or Hartsfield-Jackson, is the primary international airport serving Atlanta, Georgia. Still covid just had a flight here to Florida fort Lauderdale and it is still extremely busy

I'm nervous, I'm going on the flight in June and I have a connecting flight here and only 32 minutes to get to the gate 😭😭 ill be alone so I need to do as much research as possible 😂

That’s why any layover I scheduled is never less than an hour.
i know i’ve seen this airport hundreds of times (i live only about 45 minutes away) but i still think it’s such a beautiful airport, and i am in love with the architecture style

@@hereisayana8207 First off, a river. There's also a plane train. An automated subway/people mover. And MILES of it. And it's just plain massive

First off there is a plane train, hallways and work/storage areas, then there is a HUGE room with conveyer belts, and there is a maintenance room for the plain train, and lounges for the pilots no all the workers. I’m sure there’s lots more to discover under there, who knows?
There are art galleries in between the concourses for those who choose to use the moving sidewalks in lieu of the train. That would be something nice to show.

I was here in February 2023 and barely remember it because I was on an overnight flight with zero sleep on my way to see my father before he passed away. 😪🕊🙏💔 But I do remember having to take the 🚝train to make my connecting flight✈, because my layover was so short, and it was hard to manage the train with my carry-on🧳and tote bag because I have a disability and the train was very fast 🚝•••••💨
I came across this video because this may be my layover airport again in a few weeks when I head back home from my trip to see my Grandson, who turns 2 next week! 👶💙🎂🎈✌🏻🥳 Great video @Wonderliv!☺Thanks for posting it! (08/14/2024)
ATL Airport is in southern Fulton County, GA and in northwestern Clayton County, GA. The 3 city limits touching the airport are Atlanta, College Park GA and Hapeville GA. Also, it's kinda weird why Atlanta's city limits have an exclave in the airport in the parking lot near the Delta Flight Museum.

Thank God for that train. There’s no way you can navigate this place on foot.
I know, ATL airport is massive.
The train helps. If you’re unable to walk too much you can also request wheel chair service and a guy will push you to your gate. Wheel chair service can also help if there’s a lone traveler who never flies and is confused with directions of finding the gate too. It helped my moms friend who doesn’t speak English and never flies

Yes, it's a huge airport so it can actually be a little intimidating.
The last time I flew out of Atlanta and on my way to Chicago it was June 20,2019 on a sad occasion, my grandfather died on June 6 three 🕒 days before my birthday, the funeral ⚱️ was June 21 the next day! Blessings and Hugs 💖🤗🙏!

Fun fact, if you dont get off the train that takes to to next concourse, it will say its going out of service. It keep going, lights go out, it goes in a tunnel and then loops back around.

Love this airport, which is the busiest in the world which was built/expanded by the first BLACK mayor of Atlanta Maynard Jackson!! He made sure that majority of contracts went to black American construction/architect/electrical etc companies in the whole city (airport/subway/roads /skyline/etc) as well as doing joint venture with larger companies.. ultimately/til this day 90% of this airport/operation/skyline etc are black American owned/constructed .. that’s why Atlanta is known for having wealth asf black Americans 🇺🇸.

The most comfortable places to sleep at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport seem to be located airside, in Concourses E and F, and in the International Terminal. Here, there are comfortable loveseats and chairs that you can push together to make pseudo-beds.
