    Structure is usually easy to hide through cores. I think you can be smarter with them around your stairses and voids. Istead of hiding in your case maybe they can be celebrated and fun.

    Always try to find references and adopt a modified version of their solutions. Look into the Bibliothèque Alexis de Tocqueville by OMA or Tianjin Binhai Library by MVRDV or Très grande Bibliothèque by Rem Koolhaas or Ronchamp Chapel by Le Corbusier or many other works! See how they make structural elements part of the make up of the design. You are most successful when it is prethought rather than flimsy sticks on the plan that you place in the end.

      thanks for the suggestions! the original precedent for this project was the casa om by sou fujimoto, which had the exterior walls as the only structural support. that worked for the precedent bc it was a lot smaller, but it was a bit hard to translate over into my larger design. structure has always been a struggle for me but i'm working on it!
