For direction, aiming perfectly straight (90 but depends on orientation of farm) allows you to use left and right to seamlessly switch direction.
Max Tickspeed is 20, so the theoretical maximum crops is 20/second.* *Impossible due to lag
Default Minecraft Walk Speed is 4.317.
To treat the farm as 5 blocks, 20/5=4 + 1/16 to account for water.
4.0625/4.317*100 = 94.1(94)
You should mine all blocks here, as long as your 'missed' hit lines up with the water.
ALTERNATIVELY
To treat the farm as 4 blocks wide (ignoring water)
5/4.317*100 = 115.8 (116) | Round up for efficiency
This will be /slightly/ faster, but will need a bigger farm to be infinite.
As it goes, due to lag, I use 121 for this method.
All three methods will max out at 20 blocks/second.
The first is technically 19.9, but there will be some deviation due to lag, so it doesn't really matter.
TLDR;
Aim straight
94 for all blocks
116 for 4 rows.

Well after 2 days. I can say it took me (with doing 6 ish jacob contest either on my island or on garden) that it takes about 7 ish hours to start from preset farm to cleaning it, making 9 levels and tiling/lighting them up with water. I now have 2 presets saved. The just dirt and the tilled. Now maybe I'm about a hour away from the first 9 being filled in. So all in all this videos guide takes about 10 ish hours to do all 10 farms. For comparison. 1 out of 3 levels for a infinite sugarcane farm on private island took me about 8 hours. This is insane how much quicker things are.
Rip to the A-D semi-afk farms because they're limiting height to 10 blocks (from bedrock) however they might increase the growth rate

you can put a teleport at the end so you dont have to use your aspect of the void to go back to the top

You can copy and paste the farms as long as you have additional plots available.
They'll paste facing the same direction, so if you plan on linking them rather than using a different crop, make sure they're next to each other on that x/z plane.

Fire, u can't put items that have a storage in your backpack because this would allow you to have a 'backpack in a backpack'

Can i just put water at the blocks i walk on with signs at the ends so i dont need the water streams from top to the bottom
You can do, but that'll convert the farm into a 4-wide farm, as the fifth won't be irrigated, so you'll need a bigger farm to make it infinite, and make sure to adjust your speed accordingly.
u should do a fast motion of u actually properly seriously honestly building a full full farm so i can copy it becuase im pretty sure i will mess something up and use the builders ruler cuz i have no idea how it works. and also if u have good setup will you be able to get gold medal using an infinite farm like this?
Gold medal is gonna depend on exactly what your setup is - Leg elephant pet, which hoe, Anita upgrades, etc., but yes.
And I'll see if I can make something in more detail in the future. :D
@HonestlyFire yea I know this is supposed to be informative but I also cannot figure out how to get the ruler to work I keep making it work like the builders wand. Also do you have speeds/yaw for farm?
@@HonestlyFire if u r only starting out with farming u can probably forget about gold for now. But it also kinda depends what crops. Im farming 52 and cant get gold in cocoa beans nor nether wart 💀 cactus used to be easy cuz no one wanted to build the farm xd and ur inv is easily full so u need big sacks. Not sure how easy it is now tho
@@HonestlyFire I’ve gotten gold in carrot and wheat with t2 hoes lvl 95 mooshroom cow, melon armor, 1.15k mp and farming 27
@@11jt80 What are you using for strength in this mooshroom setup? you said 1.15k mp does that mean magic power as in from talismans? Im just trying to figure out how to make mooshroom give more fortune than elephant to make it worth a investment
how am I supposed to get all the crops in the infi farm?
If you can't reach all the blocks, make sure you have 1.12 hitboxes (Patcher).
If you still can't, treat the farm as a four-wide and adjust speed accordingly (checked pinned comment).
i'm not sure if it still works but i'm pretty sure there is a better automatic farm that requires you to just hold down the mouse and movement keys. it uses redstone so im not sure if you can use it in the garden
I believe that most of these stopped working (or at least stopped giving exp) because of anticheat updates, but if you've got a better design send it my way and I'll check it over!
is there a way i can do this for farms like melon,pumpkin,netherwarts?
For netherwart replace the dirt with soul sand, remove the water and it'll work pretty much the same.
Both melon and pumpkin require a slightly different layout as you have to mine them from the front, rather than the side.
My best advice for the two of them is to use the duplicating farm for carrot, potato, wheat, and netherwart, and use your remaining farms in a row for cocoa, melon, sugarcane, and pumpkin. Alternatively you can replicate the default design on top to build a vertical farm for all of these crops.
I'd definitely recommend using the Builder's Ruler to replace the default wooden slabs with stone/something that won't easily be mined.

This particular layout, as Jane said, Wheat, Carrot, Potato, Netherwart, but the duplicating preset farms works with any and all types.

This particular layout works best for carrot, wheat, potato (and netherrack if you use soul sand, not dirt).
Of those, I mostly farm wheat during competitions as it allows for some easy gold medals during Jacob's events.
If you're farming purely for money, I'd be going for a modified version of a cocoa farm.

The main advantage of this farm is that it's very easy to run through without all that much focus.
Having said that, if you've got all 4 layers, it should be as efficient as any other design. If you've got something more efficient drop me your ign and I'll come check it out! :)
