The image shown at 2:00 is actually the negative of the actual film. I was staring at it thinking wow, I never realized the field was oriented the other way. It's not, as you can tell the lake and City should be reversed. The open end of the Stadium was on the East side...
Great video. My father grew up in the shadows of League Park. Maybe not the best thing for a baseball fan. Flunked out of Cathedral Latin because he'd skipped school to watch afternoon baseball there.
