I have spent more lazy afternoons in Rose Hill than I care to admit to. Practically lived there for years. I can remember college kids spread out on the grass studying near the brook and the open tombs we dared each other to crawl into. After all those years they finally began clean up and restoration and it's beautiful again. And I know of one or two more places the Bro's share some history with that most have forgotten. I love Rose Hill.

1 of my favorite cemeteries. U need 2 turn rt instead of staying strait. The most beautiful monuments are located there. Plus go to the last rt turn & follow it 2 its end. Go down the hill to the rt towards the RR tacks. I'll bet you've never seen what there by the creek.

How do you go there and not visit The Brothers?

It was an unplanned visit - -spotted the cemetery from the highway and detoured to visit. I didn't even know there were there! I'm going back for a better visit soon.

WOG: Walking Old Graveyards absolutely it’s a really cool experience if you’re a fan. Right before you get to their gravesite Elizabeth Reed is buried.. she inspirers In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. Then the grave of Martha Ellis is up the hill a bit and she inspired Little Martha. Then you have to find the Bond monument... walk down the stairs and you’ll see the famous spot where the band had their photo taken and Berry Oakley has his hands outstretched in a Christ pose

@@walkingoldgraveyards And the Woolfolk graves as well... very chilling story on that one... We visited the Allman bros graves a few years ago on a cold sunny day early in the morning.
We parked down along the train tracks and walked up to the graves to pay respect... and in the background a train rolled by blowing it's whistle...
As we got back to the car and I turned on the switch, my music player randomly connected to the car and played "Statesboro Blues..."
My wife and I just looked at each other...It was creepy, but it made me smile... I rolled down the windows, and cranked it up... I figured if the boys wanted to hear one of their old tunes, I was gonna let em hear it...
