That's the idea! I'm hoping to do the opposite in another video, where I make a song with only one chord. It seems impossible but there a number of famous songs that literally only have one chord!
@@songsbyspencer I'm looking forward to it! I was thinking, you could approach this concept in a similar way if you had say 4 chords in the song total, but you just played each one for 1 minute 🤔
Wow, you nailed it! It's quite hard to write a melody around such "random" chords, and it sounds epic. Maybe it's how the Beach Boys wrote their songs? My song with the most chords is "Hero" and it's been a hell to perform!
That’s an incredible accomplishment, to achieve that level of cohesion. 👌🏻. A never ending chord progression is the musical equivalent of blue b*lls haha. No emotional release or resolution! Which of course it’s not necessarily a bad thing
B section has strong Ben Folds Five vibes
I thought that too.
sounds like a dream theater ballad.
"We could pick chords at random, but that's gonna sound like we picked chords at random"
And if it sounds like we picked chords at random, it's probably because we picked chords at random!
A video concept so good you can't not click on it!

I thought "this will not work", and the result is great
Really creative idea! Was the best opportunity to show inversions. 😅😊
Ok, this is genuinely my favourite song of yours so far.
I appreciate that. Be sure to give it a spin on streaming!
That's a really cool song again, Spencer. I've enjoyed it immensely.
that turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I liked it.
Nice work, Spencer! I'm diggin' your process. 😎
That was fantastic! Love the concept and you executed wonderfully. Great job!
You're genius, man!
Now lets hear those vocals without auto tune
Nice experiment.
Wow dude, that turned out great. Thanks!
Never thought that it would turn out very well, but you did a great job again. Catchy!
I used to watch all of your videos but then you stopped getting recommended on my starting page. Glad to see you're back on there.
Incredible technical achievement
I'm in the Ben Folds vibe camp. Well done. Mission very accomplished.
actually unbelievable
Way cool concept dude 🎧 I tried this once, didn’t get far, I only know 3 chords 😆 Nicely done mate!
Honstly, i thought the song would have been fun, but crap... but it was actually great!
This is so great! Just stumbled upon your channel... immediately subscribed! So much good stuff to learn from
So glad to see that you're enjoying the content!
Amazing man! I like it.
This is great! As a musician myself, who loves to try different things, this is perfect.
Touching song. Was not a musical chaos at all, brought up feelings that we all know. Many of your songs make me feel that I wish comfort for you. :)
I have a music channel now btw with English and Hungarian songs www.youtube.com/@A.I.ChristianMetal-t8f/featured
You are unbelievable. Amazing talent met with diligent work.
The kind words mean so much! Thanks for watching
Incredible as always
Amazing dude! That gave me huge Ben folds vibes, specially the lyrics haha

Omg this is genius
Super crazy idea man. The chord progression was actually beautiful
It was really hard to wrap my head around. It took me a lot of time to get it down, particularly those 7th chords. Brutal!
@@songsbyspencer I got an idea, try to make a song with one base root chord. Use all inversion or variations of that root as you please.
@@shaylevinzon540 that was my thought! Do the opposite and do a song with only one chord. Seems impossible but there are several songs that do it!
I like the first part better
OK. this. is. awesome 😀
Glad you think so!

can you make a Jamiroquai song
Of course, the lyrics are a little corny but the music is absolutely fantastic. It could be a hit with different lyrics. I’m impressed! ❤
Thanks for the kind words!
I expected this guy to be some guy with like a million subscribers, but nope, I was wrong, this guy need's attention.
You had me until it turned to jazz
The jazz went crazy wym
This is boated
