Caleb has one of the most ferocious fucking voices I’ve ever heard in my life. I’m still grieving from his death honestly. It’s still hard for me to listen to Cave In and OMG sometimes because he’s gone.
I saw old man gloom in the basement of a church in Philadelphia once.....incredible show....awkward handshakes.....I will never forget it. They played with Rosetta.
Excellent work Kenneth, as well as all of the individuals involved. I didn't think it would be possible to enjoy Old Man Gloom more than I already did. However, after viewing this offering... I stand corrected. Thank you. It is greatly appreciated.
This film, and Isis where how I first heard these guys. Fuckin wow! Favourite band since then. Also recognised Caleb from an older song by The Ocean and love his sound. Such good shit!!!! Zozobra definitely my favourite song of theirs, all 28 minutes of it.
First time I heard of OMG, I had just put in the Converge - Long Road Home DVD that I had pre-ordered months before. The music playing on the Menu screen had me hooked..I was like "THIS....IS NOT...CONVERGE...BUT I NEEEEEEED IT." Turns out it was Seminar III, so I also bought that VERY quickly.
Serge Nikolaev I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure that it’s some variation of B tuning...I wanna say Drop B which is the tuning for nearly all the Isis stuff.
Turns out that the heavy metal test omg took ended up being false positive...hate to break it to the metal fans, but yea, no heavy metal(s) harmed in the making of this band, and the jury's still out on the genre...
was the techno couple is the intro for real? "have they collaborated with skrillex yet? can i look them up on sound cloud?" what about the bookish lesbians that looked straight out of that portlandia sketch? were they for real too? lol :)
@@srsucioguapodelsur8845. Have you really, as well? Of course, I forgot that I even published this comment, but they have some kind of intrigue to me, and you’ve now rekindled it, lol.
R.I.P. Caleb, he surely will be remembered.
2:14 The most clear-cut example of the psychological concept of projection that I've ever seen in my entire life.
Covid 19 gave me something good. So glad I ran across this.

9:40 ...Strangely, I cannot stop looking at that crack in the lamp, wondering why it still stands.
That bit with those "Sad Vicious" guys about NO around 28:30 . Fucking hilarious.

Johnny Quid Dude. Same thing happened to me. It was like a darker, more epic-sounding Converge.
RIGHT. I kinda scared me, I was like "IS THIS LIKE...NEW CONVERGE OR SOMETHING??"
+Johnny Quid Same here! That scream is so epic!
+Johnny Quid Same here! That scream is so epic!
Converge and Old Man Gloom are the shit.
Sometimes I stumble in documentaries like these and I love it! Anyone can tell me more documentaries ?
Blood, Sweat + Vinyl! Made by the same guy, with a lot of the same people in that doc.
Thanks a lot!
Watch the documentary called "Yesterday was everything" about misery signals. It's amazing whether you like them or not.
_"They weren't trying to get Facebook likes."_
Santos agrees.
Song at 2:30?
Christmas eve
Спасибо большое за ваши песни, мне кажется теперь я понимаю все о музыке
2:12 ... i died.
1:15--She described my Father exactly. Just add booze to that.
What is the name of the song at 22:42
It's "Sonic Dust" of the album "christmas"
Thanks
it is called the theme that begins the documentary?
It's "Christmas Eve Parts I, II and III (Alt. Version)" (song 13), from the "Christmas" album.
Alexandre V. No, I meant to the that repeat the 19:57
"Gift" (first song), also from the "Christmas" álbum?!!
Give it a check I really think that is the song you're looking for...
Regards...
Anyone know the songs they played throughout the doc?
Is the guy on the far right eating a sandwich? On a serious note though I love this band. Very happy to have found the video.
guitar tuning please
Serge Nikolaev I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure that it’s some variation of B tuning...I wanna say Drop B which is the tuning for nearly all the Isis stuff.
very fucking cool video!
What song is on 16:30?
One of the variations of Christmas Eve
song at 3 mins?
the irony of the pretensions comment has me stuck in a loop of thought...is that what they call an oxymoron?
whats with all these dudes owning cats
Cats are mysterious creatures of the night. They are solo, possibly doomy and gloomy to some. They probably have a rich inner world.
Cats are magick...
Cats are good companions but also do totally fine leaving on tour
Cats are amazing.
Truly terrible. Thank you so much.
Turns out that the heavy metal test omg took ended up being false positive...hate to break it to the metal fans, but yea, no heavy metal(s) harmed in the making of this band, and the jury's still out on the genre...
Everyone in interviews on this doc are into the cats. What's with that?
Because cats are amazing!
yeah right no longer gets stoned to the bone.
they're not the greatest albums ever made, but NO is definitely one my favourites
No
Stu it's ok with ZO OZ ON vinyl trick but youd need a bra too
was the techno couple is the intro for real? "have they collaborated with skrillex yet? can i look them up on sound cloud?" what about the bookish lesbians that looked straight out of that portlandia sketch? were they for real too? lol :)
+Andrea Lee "bookish lesbians" hahaha.
+Andrea Lee haha love it
The pretension is strong in this.
Is the band 'Sad Vicious' actually real?
I’ve been asking myself the same question for 5 years now
