Sounds like Problem is extremely narcissistic and cannot imagine that decent people may have opinions different from hers. Living in a bubble of "her truth" and refusing to acknowledge other people or their concerns. It's a shame, but there's a lot of people like that. I try to not associate with them but sometimes it just happens. Best of luck to Bard and Elf!
Yea I would've left a long time ago, I've heard this one phrase a lot and while I don't agree with the way its been applied it is true "your greatest advocate is yourself" it's important to take care of yourself, being in that group would be too self harming
The Problem literally gave me a visceral reaction, their abuse and gaslighting of the party was disgusting and their behavior DOES indicate major issues though I also question some of their suicidal behavior… I don’t have full context nor mean to minimize but it seemed like they were cognitive of weaving the perfect web to ensnare these people to them, saying the right thing and basically being an emotional vampire. Having dealt with this sort of abuse before, I hope a pack of wild dogs chases them to Siberia but more importantly I hope OP and other players are doing well!!! xx
From what I could see, her suicidal attempts weren't truly suicidal attempts; that's just what she was doing to garner attention for herself, which is awful, because suicide is a serious topic and should be treated as such, and here she was, using it to manipulate people for the sake of ego. In fact, a lot of the stuff she pulled was for exactly that. Gaslighting her DnD friends and slandering them behind their backs, spouting constantly hateful things as if they were the gospel, and accusing those same friends of the exact same behavior she herself was guilty of with absolutely no self-awareness...it's just all bad. If there was anything truly genuine, it was probably the dysphoria, which is not surprising, given her attitude, but at that point, she basically killed any and all good will her DnD friends had ever had for her at that point. The group should've jettisoned her much sooner.
This kind of people are everyday evil incarnated. Not overly bombastic or hideous. Just a ball of apathy and hate that makes everyone around them miserable through presence alone. People like this disgust me. Abusive people have a special place for their dirty souls somewhere, I'm sure of that.
It's funny how that works really. I think it's good proof of the horseshoe theory. As in, the political scale from extreme left to extreme right not being a straight line, but shaped like a horseshoe. In other words: Once you get to one end of the extremes, you're a lot closer to the other side than someone somewhere in the middle of either side.
The attitude Problem exudes is the reason I stopped being so politically vocal in the first place. Always wrong, always problematic, always evil somehow. I'm so much more at peace when I'm not giving a fuck about the opinions of Twitterites, lol.
"Have you ever been chased by a pack of dogs?" Yes and would have been killed if my own dog hadn't died fighting them off so i could run away...so yeah not all dogs deserve to die mine saved my life and proper training would have kept those that attacked me from being vicious. Instead they had owners who taught the males to be that way and the female to be submissive and calm. More often than not its the owner that's the issue and strays like that are in survival mode.

It sounds like they wanted to be the main character and to play only the systems THEY like, the music THEY like, etc, and be "woker-than-woke" as some on the right (even barely right of center if not slighlty left) call it. The BIGGEST thing that would've gotten Problem into a 6-foot hole from me is calling Elf a 'bootlicker' for calling the cops when Elf was violated. (Oh, wait, should've assumed that from the Violation Throne Problem's one DMPC had.) Problem, from when I read this being posted on the discord, had me angrier than I assume Jason Voorhees usually is whenenver someone violates his territory.

I might not like them but I do realize how dogs are like family for many people.
Oh God I am glad that I wasn't there. I'd end up throwing my humanity away and just start quoting Encyclopedia Dramatica or at least an archived version, especially a certain one every time they threaten to end themselves.
I want to say that years ago I was just like The Problem in a lot of ways and I want to say: If you are self-conscious enough to admit that you need help - leave a "window" for those who surrounding you. Very unlikely you will receive any help if there will not be room for it. Just find somebody with a goodwill and open yourself for them little by little.
Here's to 100 videos. Meanwhile, holy shit that story. Problem reminds me of an ex-friend of mine who I'm glad I got away from, and found better groups of friends for D&D.
Having triggers is a very sad thing, and people should take care to not effect them when it's discussed. But, that said, if your triggered by being rejected and disliked, perhaps don't actively play a character that is distasteful and unlikable. And while you could argue "well that could be any sort of traits"--and you'd be right--there are traits that are universally not liked in a common setting. Like calling people names, harassing others, using violence for non-violent needs, and so on.
Once again seems like weak players and DM's give problem player all the power. All it take is to stand up to them, and use your almighty power as a DM: "No." Just tell player no when they are doing something this bad either in or out of character.

That story was wild, I couldn't imagine staying around for that long. Also Congrats on 100 episodes man, channels doing great!
Mush huskies mush!
This kind of people are everyday evil incarnated. Not overly bombastic or hideous. Just a ball of apathy and hate that makes everyone around them miserable through presence alone.
People like this disgust me. Abusive people have a special place for their dirty souls somewhere, I'm sure of that.
Imagine being so anti bigotry that everything you embody is bigoted.
That would be called "Not seeing past the end of your own nose" or "Unable to read the Room" or more simply "Stupid."
"Have you ever been chased by a pack of dogs?"
Yes and would have been killed if my own dog hadn't died fighting them off so i could run away...so yeah not all dogs deserve to die mine saved my life and proper training would have kept those that attacked me from being vicious. Instead they had owners who taught the males to be that way and the female to be submissive and calm. More often than not its the owner that's the issue and strays like that are in survival mode.
Congratz on 100 vids.
And, I DETEST people like problem.

I know Big Bag Theory (the show) isn't exactly in vogue, and I'm probably going to get flak for making this reference, but I'm making it anyway:
In Part 5, as the party was listing off idea as Problem was retorting back that they were "problematic," it made be think back to one scene of Big Bang Theory, where the Gang was planning to go to the movies, but Sheldon kept poking holes in the plan, explaining why it couldn't work. Eventually the other members of the gang agreed their was only one option, and walked out without Sheldon, who retorts to himself "they were right, it was the only option."
Hm, I wonder if Sheldon himself was a Problem?
At least Sheldon got self aware.
If someone uses the word "problematic", then they're probably the one who's actually the problem. Lol

Lol, that guy at the start is going to set himself on fire trying to follow any of the recipes in the anarchist's cookbook.
