They would all be my favorite, I live in Southern California where there is no places like this to find such beautiful colored teeth! The place called Shark tooth hill is north of me by like 3 hours but the teeth don't have the great coloration of the ones your finding.
Yeah that short fin and Meg would be the top two contenders! I’ll definitely be out on the bay more often so I hope to run into ya one day! Cheers and great hunt all around!
Beautiful finds!! I go out to Calvert Cliffs every month to couple of months, but never found anything like the amazing teeth you do, especially being confined to the small beachfront in the park. I'm planning on going out to a Paleocene Site (maybe one you've visited) within the next week or 2 to try my luck there!! I know it's primarily Sand Tigers out there, but I'll be happy with a couple of finds. Thank you for your content and I look forward to more!!! Brand new subscriber
Hey man! So glad to hear you're getting out and finding some teeth! Best of luck, my friend. Thanks for subscribing, and welcome to the HoppeHunting Herd! ~HH
Beautiful, right?? I usually just clean off any sand with a quick soak in water, super simple! Some teeth do require a little additional cleaning like that particular hemi since it still had some matrix on it, and for that I use a toothbrush and water. Ironic, brushing the teeth of an animal that's been dead for millions of years! Thanks for the comment! ~HH
Live in northern Virginia, can't believe I haven't taken my two boys shark tooth hunting in the area! Be always looking for them on family vacation at the beach. What do you think of purse state park? Just started watching these videos, very cool!
Dude-Other than your location, what's the secret?? I have been hunting teeth on the bay since I was little, but the size of teeth u find are so much bigger than the ones I come across!
The key is persistence and frequency. It's all about right time, right place, so the more you go the better your chances are of finding bigger teeth! Of course, as you said, location does play a role, and I do have access to some less-collected areas. BUT, anyone can find some awesome stuff with persistence and trained eyes! Cheers ~HH
That isurus is just crazy town!
That giant lower mako is my favorite of your finds in this haul.
My favorite too! ~HH
You got so many lovely find there, and that mag is soo beautiful!
