Collection of adverts featuring Hagar the Horrible and Lucky Eddy from the comic strip. These were promoted during primetime TV Adverts in the Ad breaks along with kids comics.
These films are a retrospective and nostalgic look at what the offers have been over the years here in the UK and relive your youth
The channel mainly focuses mainly on Breakfast Cereal brands including Weetabix, Kellogg’s, Quaker, Nabisco & Nestle, however I like to include other things that interest me. Its a chance to act as a future archive/history for anyone who wants to relive the magic of youth when you used to rush down to breakfast, open the new packet and hope the gift was one you wanted
So for those of you who look back in the past with fond memories of Yesteryear then this is for you.
Where ads and commercials are included, these were all shown on usual ITV channels, including CITV, GMTV, POP, Disney, Nick Jr, Boomerang, Nickleodeon, Sky Kids ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Carlton, Cartoon Network, Anglia, LWT, Pop Milkshake, SMTV, Boomerang and more

I *always* believed "Hagar the Horrible" was a British-originated comic strip until I found out about 15 years ago since the rise of the internet! *Proves how much I know!!!*

Of course, when these commercials came to the US under PepsiCo, they changed it from Skol to Mug Root Beer.

There have been a few attempts at translating Hagar the Horrible to animation. Who would have guessed that these would be the best? It really helps that they're in black and white with just occasional splashes of color. That makes them look more like the daily newspaper comics.
