    Gloves with a spinning tool..big no no.
    Also use a clamp. I lost a Finger tip after a drill bit “caught” and spun the work piece around.

      Thanks for the question Carlos, I use the Drill doctor to sharpen them, I also use cutting fluid.

    What is a good brand of drill bits that will actually last ?

      Tim I use consolidated Toledo drill bits their magnum series super premium made in the USA they last a long time very happy with the bits

      The slowest speed I could get on my vintage drill press is 450 so I use plenty of cutting fluid seems to work OK
