My 1/100 Altron from that time is a floppy mess and the design of the arms is so crappy I may just glue everything in a permanent pose if I decide to rebuild and paint it.

What happened? Money happened. They figured out that hollow parts cost less plastic, and combining it with a "modern" price, it make more profits per kits.
I hate that. It's even more annoying, when they star selling weapons in extra packs, or if they don't include some accessories at all. I remember good old kits like the psycho-Zaku, that came with huge boosters, extra arms, and enough bazookas, axes, guns and etc, to arm a legion of Zakus. These days the boosters would be sold in a separate pack, and the weapons would be sold in another separate pack.
The beam effects glow under a UV light, which is cool. Same with the MG Deathscythe Hell EW. I have the MG Deathscythe Hell Anime version on order, so I'll see if it's the same for that version soon.
I just picked one up today. Im hoping they get to the TV version of Deathscythe Hell soon. I guess they need to get Altron/Shenlong, Epyon, and Tallgeese too. And hopefully more of the grunt suits like Ares and Taurus.
I'd call that "spear" mode of the weapon the "War Scythe mode". Pretty sure that's what it's really supposed to be. Btw, the famous of the scythe we all know and love from various fictions isn't actually a weapon, but a farming tool used of slicing off grass and weeds.
I've noticed Bandai's making more parts hollow on their HGs recently. or maybe that's always been a thing. But I'm referring to the Cybaster and Dukemon.
Now we wait for the HG Shenlong/Altron soon. We already have the base which is the HG Jiyan Altron back in Build Diver so it will happen soon Bandai : "yeah...soon... "

For some reason I had the stupidly weird idea of filling the holes and using the scythe's stored mode as some kind of sword with the second effect part, then give the boy another shield and dual-wield the scythe and that sword, or better, make everything double. Its compleatly stupid, but for some reason I found it insanely cool. Im a weirdo, I know, but gunpla is freedom, isnt it?
Honestly I’m really hoping we get an RG Hell Custom or hell I’d take an updated HG. I just want one I can play with since I don’t want to pull my MG out if it’s pose lol

Duo Maxwell is easily the best of the Gundam Wing protags. The bar was set very low Heero- I'll kill you. Trowa- clown boi who was given someone else's identity out of the blue. Wufei- sexist nerd who can also kick ass and simp over Shenlong. Quattre- oh no. It's all my fault.
Best line Duo ever said "Let's take weapons and war itself along with us to hell"! Deathscythe is still my favorite Gundam STILL love it's drill shield and it's stealth feature. (The waltz upgrade still looks the most badass upgrade EVER!)
hello, i would just like to ask how do you put the v sticker on the crotch so perfectly? its so small and the surface to put it on is not flat, which makes it super hard for me. how can you make it stick without using super glue? any tips? its the stickiness of the sticker that makes it difficult
The hands on my kit looks off and very loose, anyone else have the same issue? Also does any one know what cannon the Deathscythe was using in one of the episodes?
Both companies have been doing it for years. I’ve got lots of hg models that have done it to their feet, weapons, neck joints, and other parts. It’s a shame at what companies are willing to do to save money rather than make the perfect product.

I just noticed that Deahscythe's backpack looks kinda like a Core Lander from G Gundam if you ask me.
The Wing designs did use the G Gundam country concept (Heavyarms being America, Deathscythe "European") so wouldn't surprise me.

The mount is a separate piece that doesn't even fit in that tightly anyway.
