The other's are totally fine, just handle with care and you're good. People might ask, why 4? Because Zeta is my all time favorite gundam. I'd actually been thinking about this recently since I decided I wanted to have the Gundam Team from ZZ all up on my shelf (who do I have to convince over at bandai to put out a HG Mega Rider BTW) and all the stuff I'd heard steered me reluctantly toward the new HG (Most of this revolved around whether there was a version of the High Grade that didn't have big red stickers on the wingtips of the flying armor.) I get it, it is a monster of a RG transforming model kit. I honestly love this kit and I think it turned out great with all the stickers, panel lining and dull clear top coat. Now, can we please get an RG FAZZ, Bandai?
12:44 You probably should have noted the irony of the RG Zeta Gundam having the same problem as the Delta Gundam in lore that the Zeta Gundam would FIX (AKA Frame distortion)
I just started with RG through the Wing Gundam TV Ver, the Wing Gundam Zero EW Custom. And i haven't used any of the non camera stickers and some body stickers that goes in while buildings in the instructions but i have a questionable out of ignorance. Are the other stickers that has a translucent part around the actual sticker a water slide sticker or just regular stickers with some translucent background?
Looks great out of box but yes, i agree, more of like a ticking time bomb. I like the new hguc one better. The problem with that though, are those SHOULDER JOINTS. It feels like it'll snap everytime you move it. Especially that initial movement.
That was my first gunpla ever, cuz I didn't know what RG standed for. Oh God... He's still halftransformed in his box, covered in more boxes, just in case IT ever wants to crawl out.
there is a lock mechanism at the back of the skirt by sliding to lock the legs into place also for an easier trasnformation remove the wings from the body 1st at the beginnig of the joint and then start the whole process it makes it a lot easier. on mine y revise all transformation mechanism twice and sand down and refinish every joint for any friction to avoid it breaking apart ever on trasnformation so mine doesn't feel like it wants to break. this kit needs extra work to smooth out the parts that move is even finicker than the unicorn but no as robust. all i all my hardest rg. on mine i lost the shield grenade launcher :c
The blue camera plastic piece is for anime accuracy Apparently, the zeta Gundam used blue sensors instead of green like most Gundam or red for the original RX 78
this was my very first kit almost 5 years ago now, I transformed it over 10 times and im surprised it still held up decently. I ended up throwing it away because it was just poorly built compared to my current standards however lol.
This was among my first kits that I got from hlj and the build was good but afterwards shit hit the fan. But for a beginner like myself I somehow had no issue with the actual build.
A lot of the warning decals don't appear in the anime, because it would be far too time-consuming to do so. So if you leave them off, it doesn't really detract from the look of the kit.
I don't have the guts to watch you moving the leg around xD I love the RG zeta, awesome engineering and detail. Just dont play around with it, stick with 1 mode and pose and stay with it for eternity or you will regret it. If you want a zeta kit to play around with, pick the new hguc zeta, it can handle much pose and transform
Held off of this unit until 2023 since someone gifted me it and I had other things to build. It alone is making me want to drop the hobby. I'm just not built to fucking build Gunpla if this is my entry outside of high grade/chibis/entries lmfao

The weird peice that connects to the arms that covers the main connection had me in pain trying to figure out why it wouldn't stay there
In no way am i scared to go up in grades or try something harder i love the challenge but something like the zeta gundam might kill me and take me a week to finish instead of 3 days
I get it, it is a monster of a RG transforming model kit. I honestly love this kit and I think it turned out great with all the stickers, panel lining and dull clear top coat.
Now, can we please get an RG FAZZ, Bandai?
This was my second kit, it was also the first kit I threw in the trash immediately after conpletion
My first kit was the RG Nu, holy hell then i discovered HG and I was like I dun fucked up
Its fragility is probably the reason why we haven't gotten a ZZ Gundam RG.
Tiny, fragile parts of a level so bad the veterans dislike it sometimes, and here I am with these bear claws for fingers. Yikes.
He did it
Looks great out of box but yes, i agree, more of like a ticking time bomb. I like the new hguc one better. The problem with that though, are those SHOULDER JOINTS. It feels like it'll snap everytime you move it. Especially that initial movement.
That was my first gunpla ever, cuz I didn't know what RG standed for.
Oh God...
He's still halftransformed in his box, covered in more boxes, just in case IT ever wants to crawl out.
cant help but to feel the outro was filmed ahead of transformation
there is a lock mechanism at the back of the skirt by sliding to lock the legs into place also for an easier trasnformation remove the wings from the body 1st at the beginnig of the joint and then start the whole process it makes it a lot easier. on mine y revise all transformation mechanism twice and sand down and refinish every joint for any friction to avoid it breaking apart ever on trasnformation so mine doesn't feel like it wants to break. this kit needs extra work to smooth out the parts that move is even finicker than the unicorn but no as robust. all i all my hardest rg. on mine i lost the shield grenade launcher :c
The blue camera plastic piece is for anime accuracy
Apparently, the zeta Gundam used blue sensors instead of green like most Gundam or red for the original RX 78
my brother got me this.......this was my first REAL GRADE. It was insane!
this was my very first kit almost 5 years ago now, I transformed it over 10 times and im surprised it still held up decently. I ended up throwing it away because it was just poorly built compared to my current standards however lol.
This was among my first kits that I got from hlj and the build was good but afterwards shit hit the fan. But for a beginner like myself I somehow had no issue with the actual build.
*sweats because I went from EG to RG immediately*
A lot of the warning decals don't appear in the anime, because it would be far too time-consuming to do so. So if you leave them off, it doesn't really detract from the look of the kit.
They don't appear in the anime very often, but they do appear in the OVAs, 0083 stardust memory being a good example of this.
I don't have the guts to watch you moving the leg around xD
I love the RG zeta, awesome engineering and detail.
There's a lot of fiddly parts that would have worked better as POM pieces rather than ABS, it's so much more wear resistant.
Is it possible to build this kit initially in waverider mode and not transform it?
Don't think so
The title so perfectly describes RG Zeta...
i baught this before buying my first gundam and that is the rg zeta and it didnt take too long seeing i only used nail clippers and a small flat head screwdriver
