    I suggest using good quality water soluble products like Innersense. They don’t cause build up which is a main issue. They might cost more upfront but since they’re highly concentrated they last a long time.

    Great vid Tabitha ty ! Half way thru but paused to write comment lol Im have similar hair to yours. Im over 50 and have been "natural" for over a year. Still battling major frizz :C An idea for ya for a vid, i love doing pin curls ALL over my head, maybe you could give it a whirl. I havent seen anyone do it the way i do it. Not pin curls plastered to your head (i dont do them like that) The way i pin them, once finished it looks like you have little sausages all over your head haha. It takes a LONG time to do but the finished product lasts till next wash day and the curls loosen day by day. Its such a lush & full look !! I do it day on 2+ hair , spritz hair (only slightly damp, never wet or they wont dry) take bobby pins out after a cpl hours then fluff !! Do try it !! No heat curls for days !!..make sure you have tons of bobby pins !!!

    I'm just starting my wavy journey. I've been blowing out my hair for 15 years more. I'm also letting my hair grow longer.
    Your hair is pretty mine prob was too, just never knew how to style it without being crunchy.
    I am learning what works and what doesnt . Its fun.

    Will try to capture my hair journey these days. I cut my hair short, and it's really puffing..cannot stay not to wash it on the 2nd day because it looks so messy just after I wake up..😅😅 ..thank you for you videos. I've watched most of them..I'm looking for the most sustainable one..the lesser time spent the better.😊

    I'm new to your channel and have been enjoying the content. I'm trying to revive my waves/curls...they used to be great when I was younger but it seems like after having 2 kids they aren't the same anymore (I'm also pushing 40 so it's entirely possible my hair is just changing). But I'm terrible at following the curly girl method and I'm always looking for something that's a bit simpler. I am looking to try some different products as well so the fact that you review some is fantastic. Thank you for these tips!

    I’ve been using the shea moisture shampoo and conditioner after I stopped using a shampoo and conditioner with sulfate, and it’s felt so brittle and dry, it’s super frizzy,my scalp is itchy and I get lots of build up. It’s also super tangled. Do you have any recommendations?! And I need a good styling cream that will help my frizz. Also how do you dry your hair after styling?! I don’t have enough time to wait for it to air dry before school and every time I use a diffuser it gets super frizzy and doesn’t dry it. Idk what I’m doing wrong 😭

    Maybe I haven’t seen in your videos, or maybe you hadn’t posted anything about it, but what do you do for sleeping for your hair ? Do you tie it up, braid, natural, or with a silk bonnet or something? I can’t shake the brutal frizz in the morning regardless if I tied my hair up or braided it. I also use a Silk Pillow case. Still flattens my hair.

    • @tabithagingerich
      @tabithagingerich  3 года назад +1

      I tend to just sleep on it down honestly but the method involving putting it up that works best for me is just a big claw clip! Stays in place and doesn’t leave a bend in my hair and still keeps the definition.. I also liked Medusa clipping and I did a video trying that, I just don’t like to take the time lol cuz that takes a bit longer

    does curly shampoo really help wavy hair or help curl activation since your just rinsing it out?

    • @tabithagingerich
      @tabithagingerich  3 года назад

      I think it’s more about the ingredients and that it’s good for your hair! The difference is the lack of sulfates keeps your hair from drying out.. but I think it’s totally fine to use sulfates if it doesn’t affect your hair. Or you could switch on and off! Whatever works for you
