- I normally film on a Thursday, which is my busiest day of classes and lectures all week. However, with my one Friday class cancelled, I thought I'd take the opportunity to show you what a day in my life looks like when I don't have any contact hours. For those of you who are new, my name is Imogen and I'm a second year BA Geography (with German) student at London School of Economics (LSE). What university students get up on the weekend can also be a slight mystery so I decided to couple two days together to show you a typical termtime Saturday whilst I'm in London.

I can't study for three hours at a stretch. I usually take a 10 minute break after every, say, 40 minutes of studying.
How do you even manage it?
One of our lectures in university is three hours long and I feel my brain melting after the second hour.
Ahaha I have lots of 10 min breaks (that’s when we eat haha!!) don’t worry I’m the exact same. I have a German class that’s 2 hours and I’m completely zoned out for the last half an hour!!

The single rooms get booked up quickest, but shared rooms are usually available. Congratulations on your offer!!

Would like to know the avg costs of the food in LSE? What is the food you showed in the video?
At LSE we have some free food on campus each day. You just leave a donation. It is freshly cooked curry or dhal. Many local supermarkets donate food going out of date to the 'free food' charity. It certainly keeps the costs down and gives us a delicious meal each lunchtime.
Hi, have offers from bristol(eco and math) and manchester(eco) which uni is better according to you. Manchester is higher ranked but I want to study maths too. Is it worth giving up manchester for bristol
Go for the course that interests you more and forget about rankings. Both Bristol and Manchester are excellent universities that will have good job prospects. Good luck with your decision making!!
