  • This is part 2 of 2 about transformer TTRs - continuing on with how to recognize and calculate transformer TTRs. Don't abuse the square root of three. It's best not to use it unless you are forced to. If the nameplate provides neutral voltages then you should use those instead because that is the true coil voltage.
    Also shown here is how to manipulate the numbers when using the square root of three, which is where the formula derives from. Again, only use it if the neutral is not provided.
