Fun fact about this phone! The last SoftKey on the bottom right will toggle an additional 12 SoftKeys in the center of the screen. So useful for someone like me, who likes to monitor new client installs.
Hi sir, I have a question! Have you done a tutorial on the Yealink t34w? If not, can you please because some of the videos are useless and does not help me with features on it. If you have, can you reply to this message and put the link in it. Also, this video was amazing!!! You have earned a like and a new subscriber.
I have installed some of these phones on 3CX systems and i must say, they are nice looking. But the screen tends to start looking a bit "dirty" after some time. Greasy fingers on the screen don't look good. So for daily use i'm more for the T46. To make it look smarter you can also add the company logo on the screen, customers tends to like that. Also you didn't mention that the "EXT" port is used for acoustic adapter EHS36 BTW. a bit late merry christmas and happy new year from Denmark.
+Ulrik Kaul Great feedback - thanks! The dirty screen thing is definitely an issue I'd try to avoid. Funny you mention the logo - I did this in preparation for the video, but something screwed up with my computer and i was unable to get that video off of my iPhone 6 - oh well. I agree though - great feature. Thanks for watching!
Can this phone connect to your cell phone to be used as the same number? I am looking for a desk phone that can connect to my cell phone. Any help, I would appreciate it.
Hi Chris, I have watched your videos a few times now, always very informative, thank you. I have recently had a Yealink T48G installed in my home office which is running DOT (Digital Office technology). It has been re-branded by Telstra as one of theirs though. I also think they have disabled some of the standard functions after reading through the Operators manual because the Anonymous Rejection option is not there when I went to enable it. My main aim is that I wanted to simply set up around a dozen speed dial numbers on the screen with contacts I call regularly to save me a heap of time searching through the directory. I haven't been able to do this. I am also for some unknown reason unable to access the GUI from the web in order to do work from the back-end so all my customisation so far has had to be done on the phone unit. Any suggestions are most welcome. Many thanks.
+Dennis Pillow I'm not really familiar with Nextiva - but if they're a standard SIP based provider, I assume it would work. Your best bet would be to reach out to their Sales or Support department to ask.
I just wanted to let you know that your tutorials have been INVALUABLE in my venturing into VOIP/FreePBX... /Liked /Subscribed
+nallchan Thanks for watching!

Hi,
I just came across your videos. Very informative. Would you know if Yealink T48G is compatible with Vertical Wave Server??
I can't change the name on the top left of the yealink t48 phone.
My last resort is having to factory reset but didn't want to do that.
Any ideas ?

Does endpoint manager configure (remote) phones which are not on the same subnet as the freepbx server (of home based operators)?
How would you wall mount with a lan plugged in?
hey man. can i connect it to wifi?
Please provide step by step guide to get the sip password.
You "get" the SIP password in your PBX configuration. The video shows where that is in FreePBX; other PBX systems will have it located elsewhere.
Do anyone know how this type of sip phones work with Avaya session manager , I did the same but can't register

how do u add a extension number to the line
Just started watching your videos and was wondering can an IP phone be setup to replace my current landline home phones and what does it require?
Yes - you can purchase a SIP trunk and phone number from a SIP provider and pop those credentials directly into this phone.
Can you use something like RaspberryPi for lower power consumption rather then a PC for the FreePBX?
Yes, he has a video for that.
merry xmas chris. nice yealink tree you have at the back. hahaha.
+Garry N (garryn) Thx Garry!
Will this work on a Nextiva account?
