Alfredo Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1 pint heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese
garlic
Italian Seasoning
salt & pepper
1 cup parmesan cheese (use more to thicken)
sundried tomatoes (optional)
sauted onions ( optional)
mushrooms (optional)

Those noodles looked so good! My mom used to make homemade noodles. She was always asked to make them at our school's bake sales. They literally flew off the tables the people loved them that much. Yum!

I hope Stella is watching. That was very kind of you to make her special dish and honor her. Leslie I have trouble to delegate dishes for someone else to do but at this point our family dinners is getting to be too much. Yes great tip for the dishwasher. I try to have it empty and as I wash up my pots and pans from cooking put them in there while eating and all I have is our dinner plates. Looking forward to your video on noodles. You mentioned the ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Have you tried the trick where you layer the sandwiches in a freezer safe pan. After the first layer, add whipped topping and crushed up candy bar. Then repeat this pattern once more. Put it in the freezer to harden. Then when you slice it, it looks so pretty and tastes yummy. It is a good dessert for kids to make.

Hello Leslie! That meal looked absolutely delicious! I love your alfredo sauce. I naver thought to make it with cream chesse, but I'll bet it makes the sauce so creamy! I will be adding cream cheese to my sauce as well. The only other item that I use is broccoli florets. Awh, Bryant, no leftovers!
I made Fettucine Alfredo for my M-I-L's birthday in November, but it was just too heavy with all the butter and cream. The leftover sauce separated and didn't reheat well. America's Test Kitchen has a recipe that's close to the original recipe. The secret is to cook the noodles in a smaller amount of water so that there is more starch. It has no cream and just a small amount of butter and real Parmesan cheese (you must grate it yourself). You add back some of the pasta water and that, along with the cheese and butter, makes it really creamy when you swiftly stir it for a few minutes. Of course, you can add the garlic, cooked chicken and sun-dried tomatoes for flavor, but think of all the calories and fat you would save!

I've seen this recipe. If I'm remembering correctly, it's actually the REAL way to make Alfredo (no cream). I've never tried it though.

Great recipe. I love mushrooms and would have added all of the ones you had prepped and cleaned. Onion is also a must for everything. Looks appetizing and good and everyone seemed to like it. Thanks for video.

Really. You go to to much trouble for your family; Hahahaha just kidding. I enjoy watching your videos and watching your family enjoy your cooking. Most of all (for me) you guys eating; because I don’t have any teeth. If you are wondering why; I really don’t know, because I have seen a dozen of dentists 🦷, surgeons, facial reconstruction surgeons; but that’s not for now. My mouth water’s, and I can enjoy, eating threw y’all. The family looks good and happy. Y’all are what a family should be. I used to dream one ☝️ day that I would be like y’all’s are. NEVER happened, we are old and alone pretty much; we have one daughter who is handicapped and she helps us as much as she can. Back to dinner 🍲 I love chicken I only use organic chicken meat. My husband only eats Turkey 🦃 literally. Makes things heated and difficult 😥. Sincerely.
