Looks like im the only one who preferred the fishman lol ragnaroks sounded thin and tinny to me while fishmans sacrficed a little bit of high end for more balance.
Good enough for tosin good enough for me lol

Fishman sounds so dark and muffled. Bare Knuckle wins!

Muchas ganas de esta comparativa para comprobar que las Ragnarok barren. Es increible la salidota que tienen y aún asi lo cristalinas y son pasivas

I honestly cannot understand all the collective salivating over Fluence Moderns. They don’t sound any better than at existing pickups, and I’d say sound a fair bit worse in many respects. Under high gain they are shrill and fizzy, and lack body and thump. I guess they’re alright clean, but so are most other pickups …

Yep, way too much hype going on with the fishmans. VERY overrated pickups. They're not bad and they are versatile. BUT in my opinion they are the jack of all trades, but master of none.

i'm with u bro.. it sounds worse than ibanez's stock fusion edge pickup. actives will always sound muffled, this ones even worse than emg's. maybe i'm biased, but for specifically for metal, d-activator 7, black winter, ragnarok 7 is the triarch

To me the Bare Knuckle just stomped all over the Fishman in every way. The Ragnarok is lively, aggressive, clearer, has more bottom and just overall sounds better to my ears. The Fishman sounded bland and blanketed and lacking in energy. That's just my taste but it wasn't subtle between the two.

As i have obsessed over pickups over the last few years watching countless videos like these, it seems bareknuckle is in a class of its own ...everything they go up against they seem to kick the shit out of.

Easily Ragnarok! It sounds better in pretty much every comparison.

Its only when theres distortion that you need to cut hairs. Clean tones and it's pretty clear (pun intended) that the Ragnarok wins. However the Ragnarok does everything it says it's advertised to do. The Fishman has more airy distortion but the Ragnarok just outsines it in versatility. If all you do is play metal then it's about personal preference. If you're looking for a humbucker that's versatile for every need the Ragnarok has the Fishman by a mile.
