Fun Fact: The music playing when Tanjiro was using the Hinokami Kagura is called the Kamado Tanjiro song. It's what Zenitsu heard when he met Tanjiro as the sound of his heart/soul. Because of this, Zenitsu was able to fully trust Tanjiro that he decided to protect the box where Nezuko is in.

Shinobu says that people before dying browse through their lives trying to find a way to survive... That's exactly what Tanjiro does at that moment and that's why we see his memories... Tanjiro's father didn't teach him how to fight or use a sword, he just taught him a breathing technique to be able to dance for longer without getting tired (we already know breathing techniques work in a way that allow the users to have supernatural strenght), so Tanjiro in that moment of need remembers that breathing technique and applies it to battle instinctively gaining enough strengh to cut through the strings... Then together with Nezuko's explosive blood demon art he is able to cut through the neck. Season gets so much better visually, every fight scene is crazier than the last... But that final slash will go down in history

Explanation of the hierarchy of the twelve Kizuki. The twelve kizuki are divided into two groups, the lower moons and the upper moons. The lower moon six is the most weakest of the entire group. The lower moon one is the strongest of the lower ones. The upper moon six is the faintest of the upper moons but is much stronger than all the lower moons. The upper moon one is the most powerful of the whole group, it is basically the second strongest demon, only being behind Muzan. The lower moons have their number engraved in one eye, the upper moons have it engraved in both eyes
