It’s a 6.2. It makes 420 at 5200 rpm from the factory in trucks, 450 in cars. Basic tune it’s making 460-475 at 6200 rpm in trucks 480-490 in cars. You can put a low lift truck cam on stock springs and break 500hp. And that intake in a heavy car will make it slower because the short runners lose power at lower rpm’s. Stick to the truck intake or just go with a ls3 intake. No aftermarket intake flows better on square port heads. Not even the FAST intake. They all lose torque. Cathedral port is a different story though. Still stick with long runners for torque. Otherwise you’ll have to hope you can chase your opponent down while redlining in every gear to get to the rpm level that short runners make power in (4800-7000 rpm).

After doing most of what you mentioned with a twin turbo setup I ran about 785hp with 720lbft of torque but I had to get the transmission changed and put in a manual transmission as well which was not easy having to design a new center console on my 3d printer. Probably the only 2013 Cadillac Escalade that has a manual. But being such a huge suv the handling sucks. Putting new lightweight rims and tires that are balanced properly made a huge difference. People don't think about how a vehicle handles after pumping anything over 450hp to them. I also swear by banks products and the guys that sell and support their products are beyond helpful. Without their help I would never have gotten the escalade or any of my other cars tuned and dialed in the way they are. Not to mention their controllers and gauges are huge and help you visualize everything. Adding things you need to know about airflow and pressures and such.
I love how you just cover my whole fleet every week. Proud owner of a 14' Escalade ESV Premium and it's in the shop rn getting the 6L80e rebuilt under warranty. I pretty much did exactly that to my 1999/2000 Silverado hybrid but I added a cold air intake, chipped it, took out the governor and had a custom exhaust built and I got 562hp out of it.
A cam, the cylinder heads are so good I don't even think you need a header to reach them numbers LS motors are godsend! But I swear I prefer the exhaust note of a small block or even better big block but in my opinion growing up back in the day the best exhaust note was a Windsor block with flowmasters and a true H pipe and a manual.

That engine has the good square port heads that make tons of extra power if you put them on an LS2. You probably don't even need that big a cam. I think you need the l76 intake GM performance parts used to sell it to put it on a car to fit it under the hood. Attune and a set of headers alone will probably get you to 500. I don't know but maybe you could get a thinner head gasket two to pump the compression ratio up slightly if there's room between the valves and the Pistons
Personally, with my experience. I'd say this is a extremly good build that is CHEAP, that doesn't tax that current suspension. If you have the magnetic ride, then your good till you close in on 700hp, but 500hp is still tame for the suspension. The trans are really good caddilac and gmc wise, idk about Chevy. In dummy terms, he recommended basically a upgraded power train that WON'T have you pay for anymore then what he showed you.
Same cam in mine. With heavy tune 2007 vmax dyno at Daytona Beach. Said 412 at the wheel. 5900rpm. I should have changed oil pump. He was rite on that. Needed one 30k miles later.
I'm not sure if my first comment posted, but I have some questions regarding LS swapping my 2000 Ford Ranger. Thank you and I hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience, and have a good Christmas. In short, I needed to know if I cam swap a 4.8 or 5.3 with a Comp 54-454-11 and with new valve springs (COMP Cams 26918-16) do I need to swap the valves for shorter valves, or will the stock valves provide enough clearance without modification to avoid colliding with a piston?
Now, I know you love LS, and I hear that, but can you do a video on how to juice up a 4.9L straight 6 300 H.O. out of a Ford F-150? I've heard if tweaked right, they can be a powerhouse and can handle the horsepower as well.
