I love the way you talk to your beautiful greys. I have recently adopted a retired racer who has totally won my heart. So far he has a set of PJs ( with legs N arms), a heavy winter coat, a light tween seasons coat, and and a rain coat. It was interesting to see the cooling coats. Thank you for the video. He has a great wardrobe already! The cooling coats are well worth looking into, but you can improvise with a wet towel. Its the water evaporation that cools them down 😊
My Dad use to laugh at me with all the coats i have for my lurcher, shes half Grey. He's now looking at adopting a retired Grey... and Has completely change his thoughts, and understands they need them
We have a water proof lined coat and a fleece coat when s super cold we put the fleece under the waterproof coat when it’s wet but warmish we just use the water proof we do soo have one of them snoods you talked about for the snow :)
I made my son's greyhound, Arnie, some pyjamas from a pattern I found on Etsy. I measured him carefully, they fit well and he looked lovely and cosy in them. Sadly, he didn't like them at all, walked like John Wayne and treated us to the greyhound scream of death when we carefully took them off. He had to have his nose in a bag of treats while we did it. As he loves to bound up and down two flights of stairs in his home I thought the pyjamas would restrict his movements too much and make them potentially dangerous. They're currently undergoing conversion to a fleecy coat but I wondered if you had heard of problems with pyjamas for greyhounds.
I haven't, but a similar problem to the one you had can happen with harnesses, they are so sensitive. Like you I wonder if they can be restrictive. I normally just use fleecy coats rather than pyjamas
