I do think that BBW decor is incredibly overpriced for the quality, overall. Yankee candles perform poorly, but I prefer their Halloween decor. Awesome video, as always!!
I'm loving how many items they brought out this year! And it seems like they made more to accommodate the demand. There is truly something for everyone- whether you like creepy or cute or if you can't afford the more expensive items there are plenty of less expensive items to still have fun with Halloween.
When I'm trying to look for what to buy, I ask myself what I can see myself using year round vs just for Halloween! I got the skull plug in with the flowers because it suits my homes aesthetic and I can see myself using it more often than just for Halloween time. It's very pretty in person!
I talked to a BBW associate and she said August 1st for the cider lane with skull top! They had it in the back but couldn’t put it out until then!!! Can’t wait!
This was fun to watch....I love the things I bought.I don't usually go all out but this year I spent a lot...The only think I wish is that the raven candle holder had a choice of a purple light...they could have different light color options instead of the music...I don't plan on using that feature....Thanks for the ratings.
Aw I thought the Pumpkin Spice latte pocketbac holder is cute! I don't actually have it (or plan to buy it) because I don't need it, but I do enjoy it as a fun and festive item. It also seems fairly affordable at under $7. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I agree the hot items definitely the haunted house luminary, the haunted tree, and some of the pocketbac holders like the skeleton and the fluffy cat I love them all and I bought them all! I appreciate the honesty on the nots lol

I don't think anyone is buying the Eyeball globe at the stores I frequent. They just sit there. The Raven globe is slow to sell. The Monster Tree is gone in a flash.

You're right though how's things are different like fragrance mist and lotions can be different. The cat in a hat wallflower plug in with wicked vanilla woods bulb is awesome! I have the black cat and I'm going to put a flame less flickering battery operated candle in mine and there should be a glow from behind him and I don't have to worry about damaging it. I'm just not into spiders and I don't like the metallic pumpkin with the spider legs. If you watch shorty Tam she put a wine bottle in the witch hand candle holder and put two wine glasses with skeleton hands beside it...great idea.

I want a spicier not sweet hand soap. I liked 2017ish Spooktacular and the one from 2020 I think Spooky Nights. Also love pumpkin carving candle. Got the glowing bat wallflower and was a little disappointed on how it glows but its a cutie so I'm keeping it.

So far I only bought the Raven/pumpkin wallflower plug and some refills. I am loving Wicked Vanilla Woods in the refill. Very strong and not what I expected. It’s almost sophisticated. the enchanted candy potion body cream smells like the bottom of a trick or treat bag like a mix of candy I love it! it also reminds me of fruit snacks lol. I agree it’s pretty different compared to the spray. I'm more like goofy/funny/wild. so I don't usually prefer more plain things like WB candles, faceted collection, etc. I think they're great for some and know many love them. but where some people probably think WB candles and more simple decor is neater, classy, I usually think it's boring n plain. The apple hand plug in, I recognize it does not have the great detail as some of the other hand items but it's under $20 so I really was not expecting anything more than it is. Everyone has different taste, but right from the beginning I hated the pumpkin spider metallic thing. I love the witch hand and the witch hand soap holder and the raven globe. But my aesthetic is more classy victorian so anything too childish looking doesn’t suit my style. The tree is too metallic for me. I wish the black cat was more mature like a Bast Egyptian god. Also like you said it doesn’t show off the candle well. I do like wicked vanilla woods.
The tree reminds me so much of the tree from evil dead . I know the trees in that aren’t good for obvious reasons RUclips will probably block the word if I write it, but I mean I love evil dead and am a horror fanatic sooooo I’m still trying to find the tree. A couple of things i agree with you on but have to agree to disagree on a lot of these items as far as what's hot and not. Everyone is different as far as that goes. 🤷♀️
Here are my takes: HOT: eyeball water globe, twisted "whomping willow" tree, ivy witch hand soap holder (I bought 2!), ghost terrarium plugin, spooky cottage plugin, spider branches 3-wick holder, and trick or treat canvas bag. NOT: $200 luminary, raven water globe, green witch hand single wick candle holder, cat single wick candle holder, twisted tree wall plugin, candy-flavored lip gloss, noise-making witch hand soap holder, and pumpkin light up soap holder. There are a few things that, for me, the jury is still out: spider pumpkin 3-wick, evil apple plugin, etc. Also, I've been using the bat pocketbac holder from last year or the year before, and BOTH wings broke and fell off! My wingless bat looks pretty weird...
Bonnie how crazy is it that the Enchanted Candy Lotion Body Cream stinks and the Wicked Vanilla Woods Body Cream smells like nothing at all. I’m so disappointed. I loved both body mists i didn’t hesitate to get the body cream when it was on sale earlier in the week. Exchanging tomorrow. 😳

I think the weird note in enchanted candy potion is cherry chapstick. Smell them side by side and you’ll know what I mean lol.

You have to keep checking the website daily.. that one came back in stock for a day or 2 a few days back and I was able to get it with a reward.

I absolutely HATE the body creams now. They all have a soured, rancid smell.
They need to bring back the ultra Shea formula, but they won’t because they are trying to cheapen the formula

A couple of things i agree with you on but have to agree to disagree on a lot of these items as far as what's hot and not. Everyone is different as far as that goes. 🤷♀️
Remember though that we have 3 entire months before Halloween, so don't be real quick to dispute some of these items......JMO....
The throw on the Halloween candles just aren’t good and it makes me so sad 😞
Here are my takes:
HOT: eyeball water globe, twisted "whomping willow" tree, ivy witch hand soap holder (I bought 2!), ghost terrarium plugin, spooky cottage plugin, spider branches 3-wick holder, and trick or treat canvas bag.
NOT: $200 luminary, raven water globe, green witch hand single wick candle holder, cat single wick candle holder, twisted tree wall plugin, candy-flavored lip gloss, noise-making witch hand soap holder, and pumpkin light up soap holder.
There are a few things that, for me, the jury is still out: spider pumpkin 3-wick, evil apple plugin, etc. Also, I've been using the bat pocketbac holder from last year or the year before, and BOTH wings broke and fell off! My wingless bat looks pretty weird...
Bonnie how crazy is it that the Enchanted Candy Lotion Body Cream stinks and the Wicked Vanilla Woods Body Cream smells like nothing at all. I’m so disappointed. I loved both body mists i didn’t hesitate to get the body cream when it was on sale earlier in the week. Exchanging tomorrow. 😳
