I agree with you. Sometimes Itabashi's sets were not high enough for the wing spikers, especially Kumamae. I always love a Japan-China match. Always interesting rallies with good defence and deceptive tactics.
3-0???? wow. China with Hu Jin... I was never convinced he was a good coach for China. Lang Ping left him great talents and he couldn't continue the winning streak. As for Japan, great job. Itabashi risked a lot of quick sets that were too tight, but her hitters seemed to be ready to swipe it off for the block-out. Very fast game, beautiful to see. I loved Tsukumo. Spot on.
