Plus it can be triggered by MIDI. So if you're trying to trigger using the transients but you actually want it triggered by the softer hits, just use MIDI and feed notes aligned to whatever hit you want. In my case, I have a MIDI drum library. So instead of trying to route, say the kicks, to a different track (which can be cumbersome when using Kontakt), you can just use the technique I mentioned and just use the same MIDI you have programmed for the kicks to trigger Snapback. You can even route the MIDI notes to the track that has Snapback instead of copying the MIDI clips over.
I use all of their stuff especially with this current EDM project I am producing for an artist. It all works well. Devious Machines also is a buy IMHO and have all of their pugins also.
A hardware controller for this would be actual insanity. Any thoughts? Push (ok) but i'm thinking smaller and dedicated (since this is a staple plugin)
This would be an awesome update feature. Syncing to DAW for consistent input tracking, and using a simple sequencer with, say, up to 16 or 32 to only trigger in user specified intervals.
I assume these sounds are to be bounced after you find the effect you want and placed back in the session due to the delay during live playback or is there a workaround for this?
I don‘t think there is a workaround, since in order to put something in front of the actual drumhit, the original signal has to be delayed. It wouldn’t be technically possible otherwise
@PluginBoutiqueOfficial ive heard it from the devs themselfs, that PIB has not payed some companies their share this quarter. Wich is probably a violation of contract itself, and speaks to possible issues further down the line within beatport/loopmasters/pib.
This is the plugin i never knew i needed until it dropped. Love the innovation from these guys
Excellent plugin. Purchased last week.
Game changer plugin ! i ll buy it.

I don't even open my daw, hits are there already, perfectly aligned. Yesss I am feeling it grrrrrr.
Would be great to have option to ramdomize, and lock the tails.
Ability to randomize certain parameters would be great!
@@davefellows In Ableton, you can just put LFO in the chain and make it control one or more parameters.
I have it and it's pretty neat!

Is there a solution to selectively apply snapback to every 4th snare on a snare only track?
That's easy too do just duplicate your snare and on the duplicate channel delete 3 and add this plugin so it just effects the 4th
@@djjuno106 Thanks for the solution! Yes I know that is the simple and fastest way to do it but I wondered if I can do that with snapback's feature.

you could use a MIDI trigger
Automate the power on the plugin to switch on when needed

Is there a way to get Snapback to hit on every other snare or kick hit, or any combination of hits?
if the snares are the same velocity, you would need to automate the on/off or the attack time - JC
amazing plug in. could I drag in two, 1 shots into snapback and combine them together??
You can combine up to 69 shots
Instant buy
enjoy - JC
And this is why Ableton needs Bounce in place.
M4L device
Gimmick
Why arent you paying developers ?
Is PIB going under?
What are you referring to? - JC

It’s an issue with Digital River (payment service provider), not Plugin Boutique
