Exactly the info I was looking for when searching the differences between the two. Seems like each publisher and its translation have a standard "Study" bible and either an abridged version of that OR a different type of study bible but with less study notes. An example of the former would Crossway's "ESV Study Bible" (standard) and its abridged version "Student Study Bible" (abridged) but NOT the "Concise Study Bible" which has a different set of study notes that just happen to be not as extensive. Studying the differences between "study" bibles can be a task on its own lol, and so I thank you for this great (and may I say, enthusiastic) presentation.
Is there any magnifying sheets that you know of that could be used with the student Bible? I like the large print but am a new Bible reader and I want more simple.
It looks like the student Bible is Filament enabled so you can possibly get all of the information and more than what's in the large print. Just in a more portable way. Technology can be a blessing 😊 correct me if I'm wrong 😁

Maybe start with the Student Life Application Study Bible, because there are less notes and less overwhelming. Unless you need a larger print, then I would go with the large print Life Application Study Bible. They are both great editions, so you can't go wrong with either!
