Mono is BOSS! I'm retired military which your presentation with a focus on How, Why, and Results with proof helped me a great deal. Looking forward to watching more of your work...Thanks
Gunnar loved this video! Great fly and it slays. Caught 3 stocked rainbows on my first not so pretty jig style wooly bugger. Works extremely well under an indicator in stillwater when the wind adds wave action. Thank you so much!
soft hackle with chickabou has completely revitalized my tying the last couple of years. the repurposed aftershaft dubbing is a super jedi tip. i'm all over it Gunnar. many thanks!
I never had much luck with a bugger, until this summer when I caught like 5 or so smallies in an afternoon with a small bugger on my tenkara rod. It gave me an Ah ha! moment and I've been pretty successful with them ever since.
Oldie but a goodie, going to put this variation into my repertoire. Clear concise details on the materials, instructions and explanation on the method to your madness what we call the river sickness lol. Keep up the good work great video.
Hi Gunner! That was GREAT! Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Keep it up. Please keep picking out certain flys and do the same educating you did for this video. I learned a lot and picked up some points I've never thought of! Thank you!
The Wooly Bugger has probably caught more fish than any other bug ever. I really like how you explain each and every step of the recipe. Great video as are all of yours I have seen. When I talk with new tyers that want to learn I send them to your videos and Kelly Gallops.

great easy bugger pattern. I like that you used the trimmed off marabou as your dubbing. Also the way its ribbed with the tying thread makes this a super easy super fast way of tying a bugger. Thanks Gunner.
I really like your dubbing. I’ve used a lot of waste materials as dubbing but never thought about hen feathers in this manner. Killer looking bugger I’ll be tying, but a few samples to go by will nice. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Gunnar.I like tying all the materials the same way.I'm right handed every materials goes on the hook clock wise.Have a great evening from The GSM of North Carolina..... Ken
