What a hassle to get into the parks. Something needs to be done about this whole reservation system, not fair to Disney guest's. I am glad Taylor got in. Another fun vlog, welcome back Taylor.
The humidity is what makes it feel warmer. The problem with the reservation system is it helps nobody except for Disney. The parks are full. Why the hamburger are they wasting time for making everyone make a reservation/ park hop from park till 2pm. The real reason Disney makes guests wait to park hop because they wanna keep the amount of employees as low as possible because now they’re not using as as many employees because everybody’s mobile ordering food from the Genie system! It’s just another way that Disney can cut costs and make their actual employees work harder especially around the lunch rush because they get the push your scheduled time for lunch. I like the old Disney’s. Modern system sucks! It doesn’t give you freedom of anything. I remember we use to sit down for breakfast and discuss what everybody wanted do and go see for the day! Thank you Kyle for all your hard work! Thank you Taylor for enjoy yourself on the rides.

i would do you one better. I would go back to the FIFO system of the 1970s and early 80s except for 1-3 Restaurant reservation day of in each park and even then it would be still the First come, first served. oh what is FIFO? First in First out. no fast pass, everything is standby. when it was like that in MK even at full capicity and would close the front gate for a few hours. no attraction line was longer than 1hour max. most where at peak times where 45 min or less actual wait times. fast pass killed low wait times. because every attraction even now is designed with the FIFO system. when you introduce a 2nd line you get a bottleneck that slows the whole process down. so you don't get to go on Big Thunder at the time you wanted to, so what you just adjust and do something else for a bit and go back latter and the lines would be shorter. this only works with the OG FIFO system that MK was built around. the "get'em in, get'em out, keep them moving.
CANNOT believe you were there that day! My fam and I were totes in the parks that day and missed our chance to meet you! We were really upset because when we made our park reservation, we were unaware that the park was only open till 4:30. It was a huge blow to our planned full day at Magic Kingdom. The transit to park hop after was so packed, we gave up and just went back to our hotel for the remainder of that day. Was a waste of a ticket. Shame for those that don't get the chance to come often. Disney needs to do better. Hate that we missed you, maybe next time! Keep on Keepin on! Love your vlogs!
they need to get rid of the reservation system, and go back to the normal way. Have the capacity set to whatever value they want, and when they hit those numbers have people wait outside until enough people leave. This works 100% fine for Universal so I dont get it not to mention , when the new galaxy ride opens its lighting lane and virtual que only which is BS personally. when the new Universal Jurassic coaster opened it, it was standby only and no paid fast passes (whch it still is). Disney is really messing up latley and I am a big disney fan.

Here's the thing: on the app yesterday even early in the morning it said the park was closed. Even before 4pm! I goggled the park just in case it was a glitch but it also said Magic Kingdom was closed. Crazy that there was even people in the parks to begin with.
I was there in early February and there was one of these early closure days on the Tuesday as well - at first I thought it was bad, due to having less time in the parks, but I think we got WAY more done in the shorter time than we would have in a full day due to how low the crowds were - not to mention it was raining. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we got everything done we wanted to, and also had the rest of the day to relax.
Wow, it's like old times, Kyle & Taylor at Disney, so happy for you guys 😀 I like the refurbished castle more than the old one. Boy some serious whoops to jump through to get tickets, wow. I tell my friends that traveling down to Disney is no longer easy & they can't randomly join me last minute 😂 Those are the best days, low waits - I'm jealous! I'm waiting for Daily Dose to cover Guardians, so I'm avoiding any footage👍😀

I was a CM at Beauty & the Best in NYC. I sold merch for the show. But, it was a very different experience. we didn't get a full "Disney University" experience. We id, however, get 2 days of it and it was incredible.

I am a former cast member. I worked at EPCOT parking starting in November 1982…a month after EPCOT opened. I was there almost 5 years and loved it. We took pride in being the first cast members that most guests met entering the park! Soooo long ago!
2005-2011 Disneyland Tomorrowland attractions: Monorail, Space Mountain, Star Tours (the old Endor one), and Autopia. I was also a stage scheduler and a trainer/lead at Monorail. Also worked in Global Documentation for a year (wrote/edited operating guides and training tools for all lines of business in WDW and DLR), before leaving Disney to be a librarian. I plan to go back and work at WDW when I retire. :)
Hey! 😄 former cast member here! Worked at Studio M & Image Capture at Downtown Disney. I loved working there and still miss it to this day 😢 was there 99-2000 when the pin trading started 😃 have loads of pins and some cool defective/mistake pins…….example one is a cross dress mickey!! 😂😂 It was pulled SUPER fast but was able to purchase 2. It’s supposed to be Minnie in a pink tennis outfit but they forgot the eye lashes so it looks like Mickey 😂😂 also have some cool cast member only pins. Loved working there 🥰🥰🥰
I went to Six Flags Over Texas one year and it didn’t open until 4. We didn’t know that until we showed up. We were so disappointed. But when it did open, no one was there and we rode more rides than we would have on a normal day.

Just found out that new guardians galaxy ride is using virtual queue and LL so annoyed disappointed and sick of this competing for a rude is bs. Why can’t they just do standby??? This is a nightmare for Disabled people wanting to use the DAS pass system and don’t understand how to use that virtual queue due to their disability!! Just getting sick of Disney’s way of doing things like this stupid reservation system. Sadly I think I’m about done with Disney hopefully many more will be since they’ve become so dam greeting with charging people more money to ride anything!
And welcome back Taylor I mean she does make everything much better and if I had to have someone come visit me for that long and stay with me and go with me everywhere every day to a park I wouldn’t want it to be somebody like Taylor that’s for sure!!
When we went this past January Peter Pan had a posted wait of 40 minutes mid day, so we jumped in line. Turned out we waited for over 80 minutes with most of it indoors with screaming kids. We never waited in a line that long at Disney World. When I asked the cast member she said the Genie+ plus line caused the wait time to go up.
That’s why I am getting stressed out about my upcoming holiday, I only want a two day ticket for Disney which I can’t purchase in the UK, so if I can’t buy my ticket till I get there I can’t make any reservations neither, of course if I win the lotto I will buy a 7 day ticket, this is the first time I have not bought a 14 day hopper but spending/staying at universal this year, I suppose I need to stop stressing but when you have had to wait two years to get back and you don’t live there you want to do everything you want and that upsets me that it’s getting more and more impossible.
Kyle, everyone is at Hollywood Studios for Star Wars May 2-4th. There is special merchandise, Disneyland did two ticketed Star Wars fireworks with after party show. Star Wars characters did a march. Light saber meetups. Rise was 90 minute waits. $775 is tons of money that you could have saved using a travel agent for Taylor. You did save some money since Disney averages $160-$209 for a single pass per day. Crowds went to the other parks open later. Maria streamed Sunday from crowded Epcot. 3 people got arrested.

Hate to say it Kyle, because I'm an avid Disney lover, but they're playing games. It's a very selfish money grab in my opinion. They say a park or two are at max capacity for park pass reservations to force people to buy a hopper, forcing them to start their day in another park and then hop to the one they truly wanted at 2pm, and this video is concrete evidence. The park was near empty yet it was sold out? Come on Disney, you're truly killin us!
not defending WDW. I did hear they still have a staff shortage. and not approving OT except in rare cases. dang I was lucky back in 1980, except for a few months out of the year. I could get all the OT I wanted.
Taylor is adorable! I love how you two interact, she is as in love with Disney as you. You two act like best friends who are in sync and she is great on camera. She needs to move from Australia to Florida, your two would make a great channel together. Even if it is just as friends, you have great chemistry!
I love these videos with Taylor in them. I'm so happy the ticket situation got sorted for her. I'm a former Cast Member, but I didn't work in the parks and wished I had that experience. I worked for Disney Event Group and also cross-trained with Disney Institute. Still the best jobs I have ever had even though I was inside an office majority of the time.
we went on a short day in FEB when it was drizzling as well. We got on all the rides. It was awesome. Unfortunately the cast party was canceled because of the weather.
So I didn't like the new castle look at first. To me it looked like the same colors as Sleeping Beauty castle in Disneyland. I visited DW in 2020 and as soon as a stepped on Main Street I fell in love with the new look. I do hope when the 50th is over, they remove the ribbons but keep the colors like it looked in mid 2020.
Guardians wall? If you’re planning a last minute Disney trip and can’t get tickets go to guest relations and put on your best Australian accent. I know Taylor is actually from Australia. I love Aussie.

We never waited in a line that long at Disney World. When I asked the cast member she said the Genie+ plus line caused the wait time to go up.

That’s why I am getting stressed out about my upcoming holiday, I only want a two day ticket for Disney which I can’t purchase in the UK, so if I can’t buy my ticket till I get there I can’t make any reservations neither, of course if I win the lotto I will buy a 7 day ticket, this is the first time I have not bought a 14 day hopper but spending/staying at universal this year, I suppose I need to stop stressing but when you have had to wait two years to get back and you don’t live there you want to do everything you want and that upsets me that it’s getting more and more impossible.
Kyle, everyone is at Hollywood Studios for Star Wars May 2-4th. There is special merchandise, Disneyland did two ticketed Star Wars fireworks with after party show. Star Wars characters did a march. Light saber meetups. Rise was 90 minute waits. $775 is tons of money that you could have saved using a travel agent for Taylor. You did save some money since Disney averages $160-$209 for a single pass per day. Crowds went to the other parks open later. Maria streamed Sunday from crowded Epcot. 3 people got arrested.

Hate to say it Kyle, because I'm an avid Disney lover, but they're playing games. It's a very selfish money grab in my opinion. They say a park or two are at max capacity for park pass reservations to force people to buy a hopper, forcing them to start their day in another park and then hop to the one they truly wanted at 2pm, and this video is concrete evidence. The park was near empty yet it was sold out? Come on Disney, you're truly killin us!
not defending WDW. I did hear they still have a staff shortage. and not approving OT except in rare cases. dang I was lucky back in 1980, except for a few months out of the year. I could get all the OT I wanted.

Taylor is adorable! I love how you two interact, she is as in love with Disney as you. You two act like best friends who are in sync and she is great on camera. She needs to move from Australia to Florida, your two would make a great channel together. Even if it is just as friends, you have great chemistry!

I love these videos with Taylor in them. I'm so happy the ticket situation got sorted for her. I'm a former Cast Member, but I didn't work in the parks and wished I had that experience. I worked for Disney Event Group and also cross-trained with Disney Institute. Still the best jobs I have ever had even though I was inside an office majority of the time.

we went on a short day in FEB when it was drizzling as well. We got on all the rides. It was awesome. Unfortunately the cast party was canceled because of the weather.

I used to work in Animation Courtyard/Fantasmic merchandise before I was transferred to Galaxy’s Edge Merch opening team.
So I didn't like the new castle look at first. To me it looked like the same colors as Sleeping Beauty castle in Disneyland. I visited DW in 2020 and as soon as a stepped on Main Street I fell in love with the new look. I do hope when the 50th is over, they remove the ribbons but keep the colors like it looked in mid 2020.

Went on a staff appreciation day in January and it was so quiet! It was our first time and we were so spoiled with 30 minute max waits all day.
