■ BURJUMAN METRO STATION:
BurJuman Metro Station formerly Khalid Bin Al Waleed is a rapid transit station serving the Red and Green Lines of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. It is one of two transfer stations between the two lines, the other being Union. Since it began service, over 15.611 million passengers have used BurJuman station, making it the second-busiest station of the Dubai Metro network. One of the first stations of the Dubai Metro, BurJuman opened as Khalid Bin Al Waleed on 9 September 2009 as part of the initial stretch of the Red Line from Rashidiya to Nakheel Harbour and Towers along with seven other intermediate stations. On 30 December 2012, the station was renamed after the BurJuman shopping centre (located just outside Exit 3 of this station), which had become popularly used despite being unofficial.
BurJuman station is located in the historic centre of Dubai, below the BurJuman shopping centre, after which it is named. Specifically, it lies below the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street and Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road. It is the closest station to a number of consulates, including those to Canada, Egypt, India and the United Kingdom. The station is also close to Al Seef (including a Marine Transport Station on Dubai Creek) and Karama. Along with Union, BurJuman is one of only two interchange stations on the Dubai Metro, giving it an unconventional layout and among the largest in the system. The Red Line travels under Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, crossing perpendicularly with the Green Line, which lies below Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road. The Red and Green Lines both utilize two side platforms with two platforms on differing levels. Platform numbers were not assigned, but instead given names according to the direction of the train. This changed in 2020, where platforms in all stations were now numbered.
■ EXPO 2020 METRO STATION:
Expo 2020 is a rapid transit station on the Route 2020 branch of the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The metro station opened on 1 June 2021 as part of Route 2020, created to link central Dubai to the Expo 2020 exhibition site. The schedule was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates. The travel time between Centrepoint metro station at the northern terminus of the Red Line and the Expo 2020 station is reported to be 1 hour 14 minutes with a service frequency of 2 minutes and 38 seconds during peak times (24 trains per hour in each direction), and a capacity of 16,000 passengers per hour in each direction.
The station is located to the northeast of the Expo 2020 site, with direct access to the main entrance leading to the Al Wasl Plaza. It is the final station on Route 2020, although there are plans to extend the line to Al Maktoum International Airport to the south. In the meantime, a bus service operates between Expo 2020 and the airport. After the Expo's six month run, the station will be renamed as Expo City Dubai, after the planned development for the Expo.

Via Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed St, Sheikh Zayed Rd, Gardens Blvd, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd and Boulevard 2020. The train passes/ stops a total of 21 Metro Stations before reaching my final destination as follows: ADCB Metro Station, Max Fashion Metro Station, World Trade Cetre Metro Station, Emirates Towers Metro Station, Financial Centre Metro Station, Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall Metro Station, Business Bay Metro Station, Al Safa Metro Station, Umm Al Sheif Metro Station, Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, Mashreq Metro Station, Dubai Internet City Metro Station, Al Khail Metro Station, Sobha Realty Metro Station, DMCC Metro Station, Jabal Ali Metro Station, The Gardens Metro Station, Discovery Gardens Metro Station, Al Furjan Metro Station, Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station and Dubai Investment Park Metro Station.
