Sadly no fred to put it back together 😢 😔
@@kipper.northernmonkey4505 Indeed,Cheers Graham.
The modern 18 year old capping destroyed but the nearly 150 year old chimney is doing fine.
@@bhm1712 l.o.l. Cheers Graham
Those last 25 courses of brickwork look new in comparison to the chimney proper.
Fred would be upset about that if he was still with us .. RIP Fred Dibnah 🕊️
You missed a trick there Graham by not putting the drone through that hole and filming inside the chimney.
L.o.l. No way would I risk my expensive drone doing that. Cheers Graham.
Time has taken its toll on that capping, doesn’t look like it will be long before the rest collapses.
Not sure if they have fixed it yet,Cheers Graham.
No more puddles on this roof 😮

Pity we don't have people like fred dibnah anymore.
Yes indeed David. Cheers Graham.
Yes he was unique Fred. Loved his steam engines and “cadged” parts and stuff whenever he could (in a loveable way I might add!). I will never forget him scaling India Mill chimney with long ladders - he must have been mad ! Rest in peace Fred 🙏
Hi Star, yes must have been a bit bonkers to climb the chimney like that. But in a lovely way, cheers Graham.
Cracking looking old chimney hope they get it fixed
Hi Johnny, yes indeed. It is about 320 feet high. Fred dibnah worked on it in the past.Cheers, Graham.
