A simple tip but check your shipping supplies, paper/labels, and ink often - nothing worse than running out of something and finding out after you made the sale. Also, save all those Amazon boxes! They’re great to reship in!

My best shipping tip is to make sure that you treat the items with care. They are not bins or thrifted items anymore. They are items that buyers care about and are willing to spend hard earned money on. Treat them as such, with as much care as you would a gift to a treasured friend.

    Shipping Tip:
Invest in a shipping label printer! It saves you so much time. Inspect the item before shipping, if you discover any defects or if it gets damaged while handling it, inform the buyer. Most buyers will take a discount or will work with you, they will be happy and most likely give you a good review for your honesty. Fold clothes nicely and if possible, pre-pack them in clear bags after you post them, this will save you so much time as well. It’s all about keeping the customers happy so that they can be loyal customers, or so they can have great experiences so that they can keep buying from all of us. Hope that helps 😁

My shipping tip is: don’t rush! I know we want to be efficient and fast in our process but especially when shipping items it’s important to take the time to make sure each item matches its shipping label! I learned this the hard way when I accidentally printed the same shipping label twice and a buyer got two items (one that they hadn’t ordered!) 🤪 (it got fixed - lesson learned)

Shipping tip: Holidays are just around the corner, take stock of what boxes you will need and order free boxes now from USPS! Always pack an item order with appreciation (do you want repeat buyers?) and it not shoved in a box or mailed with no care as that drives me crazy. I've seen resellers pack, just put boots in a poly mailer and send it. During the holidays, offer your carrier a bottle of water and set out a tray of packaged snacks for them to take. Appreciation matters.

My shipping tip is to inspect each item again before shipping. It's not often, but when I do find a flaw before shipping that I missed previously, the buyer always appreciates when I reach out to let them know and confirm they would still like to place the order. I'm sure for significantly larger sellers that's difficult and time consuming to do. But for me, it's worth the peace of mind ☺

Favorite shipping tip; if you’re close enough to a post office (and sell no more than maybe 10 items per day) go to the post office to ship your packages and use their self serve kiosks- you can scan everything in and get the receipt sent to your email- which can be used as proof if a buyer ever claims you didn’t ship something. And you don’t have to hold onto a paper receipt that way, either.

Shipping tip - when I list my items on eBay , I weigh them with a packet of everything I include in my shipping package (polymailer or box depending on item, tissue paper, a thank you card, and a mailing label). This helps me properly estimate shipping costs so I don’t lose money on the cost of shipping items. (I’m on the East coast - I use the eBay shipping calculator to determine the cost of shipping to California, round up to the nearest dollar, and that’s what I charge for shipping.)

Shipping tip: use the free USPS priority packaging for Poshmark and double wrap more expensive items with plastic before placing into the package! Shipping Tips: make sure you never use a liquor or wine box to ship anything in. ~ your local dollar store will be happy to give you free boxes, in case you don’t like to dumpster dive! You can walk around your neighborhood the night before recycling and pick up all kinds of boxes all sizes. If you don’t want to stand in line at USPS, use the lobby machine to scan in & get your receipt. You can always schedule a pick up from your front door (you do this online before midnight for the next morning pickup) and the postman will scan it in when he picks it up.

Shipping tip: check the item before shipping, lint roll and check it over one last time before packaging in the poly mailer. I want my buyer to be happy when they open the package! I hand write my labels so would love a printer to take my reselling business to the next level! I love your videos, watch them all and have learned about sooo many new brands to look for, thank you!!!

Wow! Congrats! Thank you for doing this & my favorite shipping tip is to think “if my item were to accidentally be dropped would it survive the fall?” 😊 what’s your favorite shipping tip?

Generous giveaway, thanks! Shipping tip: Don’t rush on this final stage. After all the time you took to source the item, prep the item, photograph, list, inventory etc it’s important to put time & thought into it without sacrificing efficiency so the buyer will be happy.

Great sales Cayley! Shipping tip: Keep your shipping area organized and don't let it intimidate you, I know I was freaked out at first about ebay but now its just second nature.

Shipping tip: I use the post office self-help kiosk to scan all my packages before dropping them off. Saves time standing in line and is also open when the in-person windows are closed!

Shipping tip: new reseller and I think the best tip I’ve seen on shipping a blazer is fold all the buttons to the inside then roll it up to prevent wrinkles and buttons getting snagged in shipping.

Shipping tip: if you can, ship items with care by wrapping with packing paper and add a short thank you note for a personal touch. Customers do appreciate the extra effort, it’s like receiving a gift (from yourself)! 😉

Shipping tip - ask your neighbors, friends and family to hang onto their Amazon bubble mailers or any shipping bags they receive. I get so much free shipping supplies this way and ppl feel better about not throwing it out!

Always check my items before shipping out, I reuse any boxes, bubble wrap, as I have several businesses that share their used shipping boxes, bubble wrap, etc. I always check the shape of the boxes, etc. I try to take pride in shipping my items. Helping to do my part in saving Mother Earth!

My shipping tip - I've sold thousands of tee shirts - I fold the tee shirts so that they tuck into each other, and looks really good when my customer opens their package.

Hi Cayley. My shipping tip is to make a point to thank your postal worker and letter carrier. I have an awesome mail person and like to give her treats and gifts for being so great.

I love keeping all my mini shipping supplies in one bin, (tape, scissors, thank you notes, etc) and right on top of my poly bags and mailers. I have a small storage area, so this makes it easier to move my things to pack my orders in a bigger space when needed. I'm slowly building up everything I need to be successful in the reselling business, but a thermal printer would be an amazing addition. 🙏🏼 thanks for all your content !

Shipping tip: If using Tyvek envelopes or Priority boxes that are self-adhesive: I save all the strips and when I get enough I used it as padding for my boxes (I sell breakables as well as clothes). It's a way to recycle & they don't add much weight, but are stiff enough to act as extra padding :) Thanks for the great video as always!

Shipping breakable items: use foam egg crate mattress pads! Cut it to size. Works great!

Great ideas, resellers! I save all the packing materials ( mailers, fillers,…) from the purchases my husband makes online and reuse those materials. Just remember to pull off the address labels or cut them off and turn mailers inside out or just use to stuff empty space.
    It feels good to reuse😊.

Shipping tip: organizing all of your supplies in separate drawers so you can access each one whenever you need it! I like keeping all my notes/stickers in one area so i can quickly grab everything I put into my packages. My polymailers are in the same drawer as my mini scale to make it easier to choose the weight when I buy my label. I keep all of these things in a 3 drawer system that I got from Target for $15 and its a lifesaver.
