Homeschool mom here😂: I’ve always loved Greek and Roman mythology. So many of our words and phrases come from these stories so I think it’s important for kids to have heard at least the main ones to help with “cultural literacy”. Just my two cents! However, I’m a big hypocrite cuz I really dislike Shakespeare. 😅
Yes! Our world has soooo much influence from the Ancient Greeks. The writings about Greek mythology are some enormous works of literature. The Illiad and The Oddessey are amazing literary works. It's also a really interesting discussion to have to contrast those gods vs Our God. I have all sorts of deep philosophical discussions with my kids when we talk about Greek mythology 'round the dinner table 😂

As an art history buff I LOVE Greek and Roman mythology! So many of my favorite works are rooted in mythology, and it helps you understand the underlying meaning and themes of the art.
Love every episode, but this one was was especially 🔥! The wins were awesome & sweet and the whole Roman Empire convo was great. 🤣 As a homeschooler I didn’t learn about Greek Mythology because my parents only wanted me to know about Jesus, but my kids really enjoyed the whole Percy Jackson series which taught me about it. Timon, my daughter really enjoyed Hades’ Town also. 😄

Jake, answering your question to if everyone is so scared when their team is on punt return, as a packers fan the past few years our special teams has been so bad that I’m deeply afraid in any special teams situation. The scariest thing by far is when you’re punting from your own end zone and the chances of it getting blocked are higher than any other team 😂

I think when guys say they think about the Roman Empire it’s mostly just to seem more interesting, but on the off chance they actually do I think it’s more of the architecture that was pretty important. But I agree, I maybe think abt it like once a year
