This sucks for both Mets and Braves bc they don't get any rest before the playoffs. MLB was wack for that but that first game of the doubleheader was the best game I've ever watched. Well done. LFGM
As it’s been proven. A long rest in baseball does not equal success. The braves won the division last two seasons and got that supposed well needed rest and got bounced early each time. Same for the dodgers. Same for all the top 2 seeds. And none of them made it to the WS. This new playoff format is garbage but the braves benefited from it. Braves will be fine and play well. SD is ready though and we will see.
The Diamondbacks scored the Most Runs in Baseball by a huge margin and have to hope that the Braves can win a game on the last day of the season for them to “Back Into” the Playoffs??? HOW PATHETIC IS THAT??? The Diamondbacks should pay for their own “improvements” to their stadium as well!
The object is to win games. Many runs are scored against the weaker pitchers when the outcome has been settled. Sometimes against pitchers who are position players. But after playing 162 games, ties should be settled by playoff games.

Good, hopefully this will force the backs owners to pay put of pocket for stadium improvements and not expect tax payers to foot the bill . Dbacks lose, do not reward losers with tax payer money 🤷🏻♂️

Rest screwed my Braves last two years. Sale is the only pitcher we have that rest actually helps. Now he gets to because of back spasms unfortunately
Ooooh rangers and dbacks wont get to defend their LCS titles
Isn't this 5x in the last 20 years, BOTH WS teams WONT be in the MLB postseason?
That interview from Walker was clearly a Goodbye.
When it comes to making or missing playoffs, ties should be be decided by a playoff game or games if several teams are involved.
