- Marlboro Man David McLean stars as Tate, a wandering gun-for-hire who lost the use of his left arm during the Civil War. Only 13 episodes of this unique TV Western were filmed. Watch for the BIG guest stars!
QUIET AFTER THE STORM: Tate tracks down a killer who gunned down a saloon girl. On the trail back to town, the girl's two brothers arrive seeking blood vengeance. Can Tate trust the residents of the home he's holed up in while three killers lurk outside? Кино
Cathy O'Donnell, playing Amy in this, had roles in many great films. E.g.: - as Tirzah in Ben Hur, Barbara Waggoman in The Man from Laramie, Jill Manning in Eight O'Clock Walk, Judy Miniver in The Miniver Story & Wilma Cameron in The Best Years of Our Lives
Charles thanks for uploading this episode.
Another good show 👏 👌
Cathy O’Donell is beautiful !
TATE was a GREAT western !! NBC should have given it more of a CHANCE .
I can't believe that PERRY COMO, who's production company, RONCOM , produced this series, didn't have enough clout with the network to give TATE at least another summer replacement run , while his "Kraft Music Hall" series was on hiatus...
How in the he'll can you call this a great western? He can't even tie down his gun, or even fight STUPID SERIES
He was a man of principles... She was a woman of character... And these two made the criminal understand the wrong he had done ....
Tate was always like lets cut the tough talk and get on with the killing!!!!
Another Great Episode !! Thank You PizzaFlix For Sharing 😄
No cats were harmed in this episode.
I had forgotten about this thank you
Yes
I've seen that cat before too. I think it was on Star Trek. Could have been the man with the golden gu,n.
I keep seeing that little windmill. What it do?
don't remember this program, but I like it!
Why not just give the murderer to the brothers? He's just going to hang when he gets back to town. Tate's not a lawman and usually acts according his own law anyway. This episode made no sense - just more people dying for no reason, except for Tate's pride and stubbornness.
seems to me that that cat couldn't wait to escape
State gets the worst jobs y would he have to protect this snake no moral or legal reason
2nd episode I've watched. Never heard of it before, and I'm from the cowboy TV era. Sorta doesn't make sense that he didn't make a deal with the brothers. Kinda strange that the town had no lawman and Tate took on the job. Should have made it the last episode, and Tate should have let the brothers have the rat, and he stay with the girl and have that nice ranch. She was kinda dippy, but it was slim pickins out there. Bruce Dern would have been good as the husbsnd/killer.
Bruce Dern played a few episodes in 12 Oclock High around this time period
Busy Gerald how
Strange episode .. a few inconsistencies.. like there were loaded guns on the table why didn’t the prisoner grab them? He killed 2 people protecting that scumbag, like he was the law or something.. hired gunman?.. more like a sheriff..
The main inconsistencies is that he can't even tie down his gun, much less fight, stupid series
I see why this show only lasted 13 episodes...very hard to swallow some of these scenes
Yeah, and he could'nt even tie down his gun, much less fight, stupid series!
@@christopherdibble5872 You've commented that on multiple episodes. Do you have autism? The show is well-written & this was the first really bad episode.
There's that same NON functional windmill. LOL
Same farm house as in the last episode, just filming at different angles.
Quit complaining or quit watching.
Not as good as Rod Serling's "the Loner" in my opinion, but worth a watch.
Far more better westerns than this, but not bad.
Can't compare anything to Serling's screenwriting.
@@petergoddard262 "More better"?
I liked The Loner too but could only find 3 episodes on You Tube.
,
Stupid episode. He knows the guy killed the girl.... leave him to the brothers. Common sense. Who needs a trial in this circumstance ? ..... No one.
What is more stupid is tate can't even TIE DOWN HIS GUN, STUPID SERIES!
First episode I've outright hated. Liked most of this series, but this one just felt pointless. Tate didn't need to defend that guy. Just felt like pointless killing.
ABOUT THE WORSE WESTERN IF HAVE EVER SEEN RUBBISH
You sure got that right, my friend, he could'nt even tie down his gun!
