I am a Yoruba man and I have all the collections of Oriental Brothers. It's one of the greatest band that has come out of Nigeria. I can sing many of their tracks but don't understand the language. And that is the Hallmark of a very good music

I am yoruba but this man's song especially this one has held me down since childhood. I was given a lovely query in the office because I got to the office late and the reason was the opportunity to own my first cd of this song. I had to drop at oshodi to pick a copy when I heard it from a store.

The Oriental Brothers is the most indefatigable Highlife music band. They were my friends in the late 70s, when I was working in the United Bank For Africa Owerri branch. I was the one managing their two accounts. Every time they performed, l was there for free. Their music almost drove me crazy. I’m really missing them a lot since I’ve been living in the United States. I’m Frank Onyekaba.

What makes it unique is that I am crying, listening to their music, knowing that the singers did not go higher institutions, still what they sang in the early 70's is still the truth of today. I pray that our jornalists will find the remaining living members of thi group and allow them to tell the World who they are. I Love Oriental Brothers Internacional.

Here's an explanation from Zaramoku in one of the replies
The singer is perplexed as to what has become of the wold, so he wonders as to how heaven could be reached in light of the injustice, criminality, man's inhumanity to man, greed, etc that are rampant on earth. That is the summary of the song.

I pray that the love that is radiating here will reflect on our daily engagements with each. Sir warrior may you continue to Rest In Peace
