Do you have a monitor or TV that can do above 60hz already? While the laptop will give you more control over settings than the PS5 to improve frame rates, you may be better off getting a more powerful PC for the money as this laptop is technically a fair amount less powerful than the PS5. It seems easier to get a more powerful PC than laptop of a similar price from what I've seen so far, which works out nicely if you already have a higher hz monitor Edit: In some games on console, you have to go into the game and console's settings to enable higher FPS & performance modes, if that helps

For $1000 I would just buy a 800$ pc, 2 monitors $60=120$ 24inch 100hz monitor 35$ L shaped desk 20$ keyboard and 20$mouse and $4-5 mousepad if u Can find one
