- Odd new mix constructed from the 5.1 tracks. Front two channels inversed against each other and placed on the left. Rear two channels inversed and placed on the right. Centre channel untouched. Whole thing given a bass boost.
End result: percussion subdued and some nice acoustic guitar strumming higher in the mix.
I was at Drayton Manor in the 90's when they did WotW with fireworks. Thunderchild's battle used a "mega mortar"... 3 miles away the windows shook! I didn't hear that grey ironclad go for it, I felt it! Still remember it 20 years later.
Sissy wait what?
My dad took my older brother to this before I was born and I’m so jealous
"I assume you planted that device because you wanted to learn more about us. I'll be happy to give you a quick lesson. We're not here to make enemies. But just because we're not looking for a fight, doesn't mean we'll run away from one. You may think you've left us defenseless, but let me tell you something about Humans. We don't give up easily. We'll protect Enterprise… any way we can."
- Captain Johnathan Archer sends a message to their "mysterious friends" (Star Trek: Enterprise" season one episode 12 "Silent Enemy")
Fantastic Mate the Bass is phenomnal.
PgcDemux is good for ripping the 5.1 AC3 (or DTS) track as a standalone file from disc. Then I use Tranzcode to split it into five mono tracks. I think the latest version of Audacity can import 5.1 tracks, although it also needs some extra plug-in or other - I forget which.

All three of those Tripods would be destroyed instantly if the Thunderchild was a "United Federation of Planets" Akira class starship from "Star Trek!"
