- 8 Coaches That Could Replace Xavi At Barcelona
Okay, what is in the air this week? First it was Jurgen Klopp, now it is Xavi saying he’ll leave his club at the end of the season. Who is it going to be next? Erik ten Hag? Xabi Alonso? Carlo Ancelotti? Pep Guardiola? Who?
Anyway, that’s not our focus today. What we want to look at is Barcelona and life after Xavi for them. The former midfielder has declared that he’ll be walking away from the job on the 30th of June,2024 and these are 8 coaches who could replace Xavi at Barcelona.
Right now, shocking as it may seem, Jose Mourinho is on that list. Yes, the man once coached Real Madrid, but if you remember, he worked at Barcelona very early in his career when he moved to Spain as Bobby Robson’s interpreter in 1996.
The man certainly knows the club. And not only does he know the club, he actually wanted this job years ago. In 2008, when Barcelona was in the market for a new boss, Mourinho reportedly interviewed for the position, so you can tell that managing Barcelona was a dream of his. Well, it’s not too late for the Portuguese to actualize that dream.

Great video
Imagine Barca played the long game by sending Ansu Fati to Brighton just to get familiar with De Zerbi so he can pop off with him as a coach of Barcelona next season
😂
I need to know what you guys are smoking in catalunya
@@ObaBallerthat Madrid pack my boy
Wow! Really
Arteta isn't leaving arsenal for a club that can't keep their managers more than one season
I died every time he called him “JAVI”
I think Hansi flick would be a good option but it will take long for him to succeed there Barca themselves are in a bad stage and players are underperforming.
Exactly but let's hope he comes 🙏🔥
If it takes long for him to succeed, he'll be forced to leave. The Barça fans are that dumb. I have no hopes for any manager really
@@Fenix-lr6ez ur right , I agree at least I am not a Barca fan. Thats why I love Liverpool they give you time to adjust
@@ChrisFc-gu4pg yeah, from the outside Liverpool seems to have a very nice fanbase. I am from Barcelona and this is hell on earth lol
@@Fenix-lr6ez Liverpool is great man Barca fans are inpatient and it will take kinda long to fix Barca they are in such a bad shape right now
next video pls be what is happening at afcon
Hopefully we get a decent manager🙏
Get De zebri from Brighton. He's good
We could hope for some braincells in our fanbase, that would be more important than a manager
Honedtly barca is in their banter era rigth now 😢 ( barca fan)
Barca need an overhaul. They need people who are determined to resurrect their careers, such as Wayne Rooney as a manager, Loris Karius who has been a good backup gk, Harry Maguire whose problem is Man Utd, he's been good at Leicester, then the physical and goal rich Romelu Lukaku in place of Lewa as striker. Lukaku is younger and can be a threatening presence. Lingard's been hard at work and intends to join Barca, so why not sign a passionate fella like him in midfield? Tbh tho, Bartomeu's time was laden with trophies, while Laporta's is basically like Tottenham apart from the La Liga last year. Unpopular opinion ofc, but something I felt Barca really needs. Many a gamble have been played, but I feel this risk will pay off...
Really?
These are some great choices

Hansi flick
conte wants money so he will never work
Mourinho has been the most toxic Barcelona rival and the fans don'r just forgive and forget. His effectiveness over beauty won't make him a fan favorite either. BTW, his Roma days were cut short by budget restrictions, so... just saying! But it's gonna be fun to hear "We must get John Terry, Carvalho, Ivanovic! Those boys can fight! They can win!". So, yeah, no La Masia future stars debuts in his term!
I didn’t like my own comment
Who cares?
Good for u
tell this to your mom coz i am least worried about it !
idgaf
I think contè would flop
Bende
Mourinho don’t do it, it will be his biggest mistake. He is too defense minded and that will not work. Let’s not forget what happened when he coached Real Madrid
What happened in Real Madrid? He took Real Madrid to their first UCL semifinal for almost a decade. He won La Liga with the most points earned in a season ever at the time. He made Cristiano into a killer striker and put heavy pressure on Pep which led to him leaving Barcelona. Don't forget that he took Real Madrid to back to back semifinals, in which the one where they lost to Bayern on penalties, Real Madrid was the best team in the world by a mile. Zidane discovered Varane as a scout but Mourinho was the one playing him against Messi. The only reason it fell apart was the Casillas scandal. These Mourinho haters are ridiculous.
@@sallethescript ain't nobody hating here, Mourinho does not know how to adapt. Chelsea, Tottenham, Man U and Roma, its fact. He does well for a year or so and then he can't adapt the second year. The thing that happens after his first year is that other teams adapt to his style and because he does not change the way he plays his teams struggles, its always the same. Ever hear of the this.. "Once its Luck...Twice is a coincidence....Three times is a pattern. " Mourinho never past the coincidence part. Mourinho did not make Ronaldo into a killer striker, all he did was just change his position and role on the field, he was already a killer player. Same thing will happens if he goes to a big club, win for the first year and then struggle again. Since Porto, his style of coaching has never changed.
We need Mourinho as a manager, we need his winning mentality and attitude. But he coached Madrid and said or did some nasty things, you will say, so what? That's what i love about Mourinho, you hate his guts when he is a rival coach, but you will adore him when he is your coach, because he is the special one. If to win he needs to be a villain, he will be. If to win he needs to do some nasty things , he will do it, because he is the winner. But he is not the same anymore you will say, that's not true - he won Conference League and was in Europe League final with Roma. He is still the same and Barca will be a big challenge for him.
