I went with the Badlands. All it took was a test drive and I was very impressed.
I have a fully loaded 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands, and yes to me its worth the extra money over the lower trims. You stated its $10,000 for the 2.0 liter engine. The Badlands package is much more that the upgraded engine. it also includes, a 1 inch lift, improved suspension with hydraulic bump stops, full rubber floor, advanced 4wd system that lets you manually lock the the 4WD system front to back, a twin clutch rear differential that allows torque vectoring via the computer or you can manually lock it, two more Goat modes, Trail control ( an off road cruise control), front recovery hooks, skid plates, black painted roof, different bumpers for better approach and departure angels, plus a few more I am forgetting. I have appreciated these up grades in the times I have taken my Bronco off road. However, I do wish Ford either made the 2.0 standard across the board, or made it an option on the lower trims for those not as adventurous as me.
Thanks for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated. 👍
Love the bird poop on the windshield, great video 👍 💯😁
I bought the 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands new 3 months ago. Mine was $42K and some change. I don't have the sun roof or all leather seats. It's a cloth insert with leather trim. Easy to clean. Marine quality cloth. You forgot to mention the front camera which I love. Very happy with it.
Glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks for tuning in and the feedback.
Hey Mike great review of the Bronco Sport Badlands! I had compared this to the Tucson Limited AWD that I eventually leased. Really liked the power from the 2.0 vs the 2.5 which is adequate. However, I picked the Tucson because it was a bit roomier and offered more amenities at a lower price. 45K for a Bronco Sport Badlands vs 39K for the Tucson. I was on a certain budget at the time. Perhaps when my lease is up in 2026 I will look at the Bronco Sport Badlands again as it is due for a refresh in 2025.
Thanks Anthony. I think the Tucson was the right call. The Badlands for me is just too expensive.
Mike, more manufacturers need to make the back glass open. Now that’s something people could use. This vehicle needs to be a tad bigger IMO. 😂
I like that too.
Had a Bronco Sport Badlands but it was a lemon. Ford needs to work on quality control
Chabby, did you say the towing limit for this Badlands is only 2,000 pounds? If so, why such a low tow limit with the powerful engine. Thanks for another great video.
2,200 pounds with the 2 liter ecoboost engine. Not enough. Maverick can tow more.
For 45 k is ridiculous for the Bronco the infotainment system is small and no ventilation seats you can get fully loaded mid size suv from gmc Hyundai Kia Nissan under 40k
Exactly! Thanks Chris! 👍
It's like if you're spending 45,000, you might as well get a full-size bronco. Ford makes some silly decisions with the vehicles.
Agreed! 👍
