Thanks for watching! Out of curiosity, which character do you like better - Article or Post? 🙂

I think "Post" seems more interesting, as it tries heavily to prove itself better than article! 😅

@@saadakhtar2000 I like Post better, too, I think they both stand firmly in their beliefs, but Post gets more emotional.

Brooke - this was a very timely video for me. I've been considering upping my newsletter articles to 3 per week instead of the current 1, for many of the reasons you have outlined. What I really like is that articles get pushed to email (depending on notification setting of course) - which allows a more targeted message. LinkedIn also does not seem to punish external links as much as it does with posts. I must admit - in my niche at least (personal workplace empowerment and professional development) I see that generic, trendy messages get a lot of visibility (but there is little value there IMHO) but articles allow a much richer, informative experience. Great video as always.

I’m so glad the video was timely, Johan! And you brought up a good point - external links don’t seem to be as much of a problem with articles as they are with posts. As long as you have the bandwidth for more articles, and you’re good with driving more traffic to LinkedIn than your website, then definitely produce more articles! 👍

You're welcome, Hardit! It was a bit of work but still fun to play the different characters.

I am glad to hear that having articles on your website may be better than posting on LinkedIn.

Absolutely! LinkedIn is great but not the end-all-be-all of marketing. :-)
