- Here is my easy and quick guide on how to go from the china rom to the miui Global rom, with links to the miui 10 beta for the Xiaomi Mi 8.
Disclaimer:
- It will void your warranty. If you wish to install any type of custom ROM on your smartphone and if anything goes wrong, then the manufacturer is not responsible for it.
- You may brick your phone or your phone may not power on thereafter.
- The Xiaomi Mi 8 phone may become more sluggish and laggy if you install non-optimized custom ROM on the devices.

I am having doubts when we change the Rom do we get regular updates in global Rom and do this affect the phone the way it works
After doing that, I got MIUI 10 Installed, but when it started and forced me to set up my phone, I had to a specify which region I am in. The only option is China, and once that option is selected, miui reboots, and constantly reboots 2 seconds after the miui screen appears.
It works on xiaomi redmi note 7???

This works 100%, I flashed my Mi 9 8GB/128GB from China ROM to Global Stable ROM. Just follow carefully you'll get the job done.
what's different when you downloaded the global rom ? more languages or what ? i am planing to get a new Xiaomi Chinese rom i want to know what to expect
Can you please tell me where do I download the global Stable ROM? this looks easy enough if you run through it carefully since I remember how it was back in the day... I also have a Mi 9 8/128 China version and I got Google services up and running, I would just like it to be Global. So is there like a 100% safe website that I can get the global Stable ROM?
@@SalemMillion everything should be up and running fairly quickly. The only thing is that the Google Assistant is not really working (can't activate it by voice commands but can when you tap the app) there is some work to get Google services on here but it's nothing difficult and illegal so you should be okay, once you disable are "recommendations" through settings adds from China are stripped down to a minimum and the button on the left side is mapped to Mi AI (the Chinese assistant) and not the Google one, there is also no way to remap it on the China ROM. Basically only if you care enough about Google Assistant like I do you should get it, the rest should work fine, just get a VPN apk that you can transfer via Bluetooth on the Chinese Mi9 and install them Google services, then just go about everything though the Play Store. Good luck and one more thing, this is a beast phone!

I know my question may be out of contest. But you think is possible to get full view to include the notch. Like iPhone x, OnePlus 6. Where you can see video on full screen including the notch.
I tried to unlock and it says 'please unlock 168 hours later'. Do I need to wait a week for permission? My phone is currently on Fastboot mode. Should I leave the phone on Fastboot mode for a week or switch it off?

Nice and easy to understand. Do you have any tutorial (suggestion) for getting gcam port from pixel 3 working xiaomi mi max 3. I read that there ist root neccesary and i have found a apk for gcam and i'am curently waiting for unlock of the bootloader. But i don't think that's everything. Read something about camera2api. no, you cant lol because you would need to unlock the bootloader, which will disable ota updates. if you want to update, then you would have to download it yourself lol

Hi from Mallorca, I bought a Mi Max 3 with MIUI 10 Chinese Global Rom by accident. Tried to flash it. Problem 1; When I try to cennect in Fastboot Mode to the MI Flash Tool (pressing refresh), the Screen of the Mi Max 3 goes dark and above right it says: "Press any key to shut down". So no flashing possible. Any idea how by that?
2. Problem: the Mi Max seems to have Anti Rollback. So do I have to wait for MIUI 10 Global Rom with a higher number than the chinese MIUI 10 version? Its getting pretty frustrating. THANX for a reply Olli
