Do you ever watch these scenes because you had a week where you really needed an Olivia Benson to wrap her arms around you and take away some of the pain?
Olivia Benson is the strongest and most compassionate person at SVU. She fights for those who are scared and don't have a voice and helps bring the truth to light about their tragic stories. She helps them find peace and brings their attackers to justice....even when everyone else is telling her not to listen to them. If she thinks this girl wasn't molested by her father, I KNOW its the truth. She wouldn't be saying this to this girl otherwise.
Poor girl... SHE didn't do anything. She was brainwashed and manipulated.... and now, she has to not only deal with the trauma of abuse, she has the guilt of accusing her father of something horrible.
I love Olivia Benson....what a brilliant character she is. Loaded with bravery and empathy. I think SVU is a necessary show and Mariska plays it brilliantly.
@@thurga13 That's more than fair too. Just consider that they first aired on national tv with ads (earning $$$.) They rerun now on several channels in the same mode gaining ad revenue. Why not the same principle on YT where viewers would be more than willing to sit through ads as they would on tv?
Olivia Benson may be one of most fiercest women in SVU but if you're a victim or in danger, she is very comforting. She has that balance of fierce and sweet.
I’ve needed a hug like that for about a year tbh. But I can’t get one because I’m a male and everyone assumes that I’ll try to grab their butt if they hug me like that.
Olivia Benson's character is awesome! Mariska Hargitay portrays her with such fantastic force. She looks more like her Mother with age. Beautiful woman.
Can't wait to check this episode out in the A.M. when it comes on Hulu. I hope it delivered. Some episodes this season been damn good but alot of episodes been very forgetful. *edited... just watched it. It wasn't bad. It was just a okay episode.
@@kayleegeese7356 ah yes because the first reply was a lie? Not all men rape. Not all women are as innocent as they seem or claim to be. Facts and evidence over assumptions and sexist bs

People who have been hurt in the past can assume that or look at everyone as a potential threat. It is obviously known there are bad things that happen at times. However it doesn't mean every man is a predator. It is important to know of the realitys of the world but there are those who try to wrap others in cotton wool because they themselves are full of fear. I guess one of the issues that had come about is that there are those who have spent time and energy into building people's trust these days and it's not always just a snatch and grab off the streets or a dirty secret within the home. It's amazing though how many liars don't like to be confronted with their lies. If you question their validity they can get very hostile very quickly. Maybe she cut and paste their conversation.. a lot of people use other people's words or omg yes even videos and if they are sexualised ones and misused .. by oh I don't know an avenging ex wanting to exact revenge .. this is why I wasn't wanting to talk with women about the issue because women can very quickly jump to the wrong conclusions.. they want to see everything as a sexual abuse even when it's not

it's so annoying I cant-
Actually, it's somethig that is taught in acting clases, it's mostly use in voice acting.
You can up the volume on her mic if it was needed.

I like how they did an episode where Benson was wrong to show that she is still human, it grounded her a bit to show her being wrong.
