Mine ended-up unarmed, leaving me fiddling about for ages and searching for information. Watched your tip of laying it out on the floor and twisting all the way. Seconds later, all was fine. So thanks for your clear explanation and demonstration. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much, this really helped me figure out my problem of not getting the hook on! I got the bar in and the trigger clicked, but the knob didnt go to green and allow me to remove the key. The bar stayed put until I did a turn and my trailer fell off. Do NOT drive if the key is not out! I lubed it up, put it in, and then had to give the knob a good twist to get it to lock. All good!
Thank you so much for this video. I found the key guard on my driveway and wasn't sure what it was because it says Westfalia on it, I knew it had to do with my new detachable tow bar. It fell out of the bag they supplied. I figured out what it was from your video so thank you making this video.
If you ever come across problems where you can't get it in or can't get it to lock in properly, try putting some grease all over the top part where the bearing balls are. Mine was really stuck, couldn't lock in properly.
Your video saved the day - couldn't work out how to fit the towbar as we had no instructions. Thank you for taking the time to make this guide
No problem. If you could share our channel with friends and family it would really help us grow 🙏

The piece that it flips into that’s under the car is that already there ? Or do I have to buy that aswell as the neck?
They come with the install
Perfect.
Thank you
Can it be installed to a Audi TT or a BMW convertible?
Email our partner brand your vehicle details: info@cbsautomotive.co.uk
Thank you, excellent!
Glad it helped 👌
Can you remove the key while it's detached?
No you can’t, it’s designed to only come out when the neck is engaged and locked in
@@CambridgeCarAudio thanks for the quick answer ;)
