Dang that was a good day in the woods. Looks like that property has a ton of up and comers. That big chocolate rack 9 point is a beauty.
So great when there is snow on the ground. It helps in several ways. You can see the deer better, track the deer better and drag the deer better!!!!

Hunting the mountains of Pennsylvania is tuff the winds are never right from the weather man I use my hunting apps for wind and movement a lot more accurate
It's nice to see my favorite hunting channel back on RUclips. November 1st is when I shot my buck. 4pm on that damp and chilly evening I shot a real nice 8pt at 5yds.

I'm really enjoying keeping a timeline on the rut through these videos. It's always a little different depending on your area but I think you can get a good gauge on phases watching local hunts like this.

Awesome I love bow hunting in the snow here in VIRGINIA good snows are few and far between but when it does its time to call in sick to work and head to the deer stand

We need fresh snow on nov 1st more often haha, i did an all day sit and saw 13 bucks that day, full draw on my “number 1” at 30 with no ethical shot and then later in the day saw my “number 2 hitlist” buck and seems you had plenty of action too

I shot a doe out of her bed in the sleet one afternoon back in the early 2000's. I was walking back to the truck because I knew the snow wasn't far away. After I shot and made sure she was done, I started dressing her. The sleet changed to snow within 10 minutes. I was about 200 yards from the truck. When I got her in the bed of the truck, there was already an inch of snow on the ground and it was coming down heavy and steady. I got outta there just in time. My truck wasn't a 4X4.
Regardless of the outcome, that was a good day in the stand.

at 34:01 I did not see a safety harness on you Cliff, bad boy.
I hardly ever use a safety harness. In most cases i'm not any higher than 8-10 feet in the air. It's a choice i make and i would recommend that everyone else use them if they have any worries of falling from the tree. It's a choice that the individual hunter should be able to make.
