🍁Homemade butterfingers

• 🍁 Pumpkin Rolls |Pumpk...
Ingredients
16 oz candy corn
16 oz Peanut Butter
1 lb candy melts (LIGHT COCOA)
- Melt candy corn in medium/large glass bowl in microwave 30 seconds at a time. Stir in between. Should be completely melted at 1 1/2 minutes total
- Immediately dump in the peanut butter straight from the jar.
- Stir until right consistency
- Dump into a small cookie sheet and flatten completely.
- Cut squares with pizza cutter
- Refrigerate for 1+ hours
- Scrape all the squares out of cookie sheet
- Melt chocolate in glass bowl in microwave for 30 seconds at a time storing in between. Do NOT over cook!! When in doubt, cook 5-10 second increments.
- Immediately dip squares into chocolate and let them harden. It takes a FEW minutes for them to be ready to eat!
**PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES WITH CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING**

Pumpkin Cookie Ingredients:
*1 cup butter softened
* 1 cup sugar
*1 egg
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 cup canned pumpkin
* 2 cups flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* ½ teaspoon nutmeg
* Chocolate chips
Cream Cheese Frosting:
* ½ cup butter softened
* 8 ounces cream cheese softened
* 4 cups powdered sugar as needed
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
To Make the Cookies
* Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare two cookie sheets with
parchment paper or silicone baking mats and set aside.
* In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar and mix
until light and fluffy, approximately 2 minutes.
* Add the pumpkin, egg and vanilla, and beat to incorporate.
* In a separate small bowl, stir the baking powder, baking
soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into the flour, and then
add to the wet ingredients & chocolate chips. Fully
incorporate.
* Use a tablespoon ice cream/cookie dough scoop to
measure out the dough onto the cookie sheets.
* Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are no longer glossy
and are cooked through.
To Make the Frosting
* Combine the ingredients for the cream cheese frosting in
a a stand mixer or hand mixer to beat until smooth.
* When cookies are fully cooled, add a generous dollop of frosting on top

Growing up my mom would have Halloween Parties. We dressed up. We would have a bonfire and roast hotdogs and marshmallows. She would make her orange sherbet punch and she would make witch fingers cookies. Such awesome memories. She was an amazing mom. 🍂🍁🎃👻

One of my favorite movies to watch is the 1999 version of Sleepy Hollow. Very spooky vibes. Actually, I make pumpkin muffins all year long; love pumpkin and want to try those cookies. But Autumn mix is the absolute best!! My mom always had some in the house and that's how I knew it was Fall as kid.

For me, I also love Practical Magic, Casper, Nanny McPhee, Matilda, Goonies, E.T., The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and more. I just discovered Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Bonfire- love it! I also love Cranberry Cupboard by 1803 Candles and the Mrs. Meyers clove candle for fall. I make tons of chills, shepherds pie and soups and bake apple pie/crisp and muffins mostly. I do not look as pretty as you in fall colors haha!! I like cranberry and a dark teal for fall best on me. Thanks for the great ideas and memories!!

My must have Halloween movies are the Halloween tree, (the book I read every fall), Hocus Pocus, Halloween town 1 and 2 of course, monster house, the little vampire, sleepy hollow, underwraps (90s version) goosebumps (watch all year round), are you afraid of the dark, Charlie Brown the great pumpkin, Casper and I’m sure I’m missing a few 😆 my candles are BBW apple pumpkin, pumpkin carving, flannel, autumn, pumpkin bonfire, pumpkin cinnamon bun, PPW, peanut brittle, cider lane, pumpkin clove, leaves and pumpkin latte. 🍁🦇🖤👻🎃 I also love Homeworx candles! Harry slatkin has the best scents. I’m sad he is not with bath and body, but now I can enjoy his scents again. I’m enjoying basket of apples at the moment
The Halloween Family Night tradition is so, so sweet!
Love hearing your favorite things and traditions! When my boys were young we lived in a neighborhood that people brought their children to just to trick or treat. I always cleaned our garage out and sat up tables and all our friends and family brought crockpots and finger foods and we all had a blast out in our yard giving out candy.
I just love films with a cosy bookshop in them in 🍂 autumn. 1) crossing delancy 2) 84 charing crossing road 3) the bookshop. They have bags of charm and are captivating.

Leaves is my favorite too!!! Smells so good! I make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins every fall. It was a recipe from my kids preschool. I used to keep a basket filled with seasonal books for my kids.

I have been watching your channel for a while and I love it! My two girls are grown but my oldest and I still watch The Great Pumpkin every year. One tradition that we did when my daughters were growing up is making flavored pumpkin seeds once we were done carving our pumpkins. We've made some with savory seasonings..some just with salt and pepper and we even made some with brown sugar and cinnamon. I still continue with this tradition and we all still enjoy them! PS: Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town are my favorite Halloween movies.

We do lots of crafting and decorate our home, then dress up as a character and record a little video of us all in a scene... its so fun! We do this for Winter too. Its great fun watching them back. There are 7 of us, so you can imagine the crazy fun😁💖
We also go on nature walks and conker hunts, who can collect the most and then use them to decorate around the home, we also plant some... they are growing well 😁
Lots of home baking like apple and cinnamon crumble and roasted veg soups and homemade bread rolls😁🙌

I have making that butterfinger candy for years, usually around Christmas. I think it is better than the store bought candy! Just bought my 1st Goose Creek candle too, called Staying Home. I love it !

My Birthday is October 21st and I have very little memories because of an abusive up bringing but I do remember that I had a birthday party when I was around 4 or 5 ish and the neighborhood kids came over and I had a birthday cake with a moon on it and a witch riding her broom. I was so excited that I had a birthday party and people came over to celebrate with me. I will be 55 this year and I always celebrate my birthday with a Halloween party. Icabod Crane is on Disney. It’s actually two stories in one tale on there, and it’s called The Adventures of Icabod and Mr. Toad. It’s in the animation studio collection if they keep that around and it’s in the 1930s-1940s section. Hope that helps!

Oh my gosh I just subscribed to your channel. I love this. I’m in my early 60s. No kids but I always decorate for Fall/ Halloween. I sit on the front porch with my hot chocolate and give out candy. My Mom who is gone now used to make chili and hot dogs every Halloween. Love all those movies and cartoons bring back good memories. Thank you🥰

I LOVE Wait Until Dark!! In addition to your movie lists, I also like to watch Stepmom and Baby Boom in the fall. Not necessarily Halloween themed, but I love the fall scenes. And my boys love Young Frankenstein. Favorite candle/scent is from Pink Zebra, Rustling leaves. And activity? I have my fire pit out front with a s'mores bar on Halloween. My favorite season is upon us!!

I went to the theater to see it when it came out...I was 12 lol It was such a good movie. I love to make pumpkin bread at this time in fact made some last week 🎃🍞 My favorite fall scent is Pumpkin Pecan Waffles 🎃🧡 I love sweet smelling scents.

Loved the variety in this video and sharing your favorites for Fall! This has made me want to get out my Fall decor this weekend and gear up for Halloween! I too love Hocus Pocus but I also love the really scary, classic movies too...i.e. Halloween 1-100 (wink wink). Halloween has been my favorite holiday since childhood. I passed this love onto my 2 boys (who are now in their 30's). We ALWAYS went all out for Halloween customes and we LOVED the DIY costumes the most. One year my youngest went as a "brain donor" and my oldest was a defrosting cave man. I've kind of fallen out of decorating for Halloween in past years because no kiddos in the house and no grandchildren either. Plus we just don't get many trick or treaters at our house either...but thank you for sharing your excitement for upcoming season! Perhaps it's time to decorate the house again just for the "spirit" of Halloween!

One of our traditions is getting a fall drink from a coffee shop and driving around and looking at all the spooky decorated houses. The state I live in has a Haunter's Association that lists all the best decorated houses. If you search for, 'Halloween Home Haunts' and the state you live in I'm sure you'll find a website. My kids love it!

So I'm excited for the new one! Your recipes sound delightful! I need to try both! Not really a recipe.... but I make a mix of candy corn and honey roasted peanuts.... it tastes like a Payday! I've already put a jar together to get the season going!..lol. A good cartoon for kids and adults is "The Halloween Tree" based on the book by Ray Bradbury. My son and I would watch it each year. I purchased a copy for each of my grandchildren 2 Halloweens ago.
It has a good story and is educational. It may be a bit much for very young children. I would watch it first and see if it is "ok" for your youngest.
Instead of going trick or treat last year we had a Halloween party with lots of themed treats and when it got dark we did a glow in the dark, hide n seek, trick or treat at home! My boys loved it so much they want to do it again this year 🎃
I watched “Watcher in the Woods” in school when I was in 4th grade for a Halloween party…..had nightmares for weeks!! I haven’t watched it since. 😂
